Re: Boxing discussion
Amir Khan is proving why fans don't like him some of his fans insist It's a race thing but when you come out with the crap he is coming out with how can you defend him. Amir and his team ludicrous claims of overturning the result because of "suspicious circumstances" surrounding the scoring and refereeing in the fight is comical. Cooper quite clearly warned Khan for pushing and of course took a point off for throwing an uppercut after the break and as for the score card they are right Who ever scored that fight 115-110 Khan does need investigating.

He's pathetic. He lost. Simple as that. He lost because he broke the rules. He should shut the fuck up and move on.

Re: Boxing discussion
At the end of the day he got that Disgracefull stoppage against McCloskey go his way, when things dont go his way we get all this pissing and moaning. Suck it up I say, you cant have it your way all the time.
I reckon although he isnt doing great he should be looking to avenge the Prescott loss and put that to bed.

Don't forget the fight against Barrera which was turning against him until it was stopped. He's a dirty fighter and he finally paid for it.

To be fair to Khan, there does appear to be some proof in what he is saying.

Re: Boxing discussion
He's claiming the guy interfered with the scoring and that a change was made to one of the cards. The change had to be made because the guy had put his 10-8 the wrong way around. That was a round in which Kahn was deducted a point.

Re: Boxing discussion
It's very interesting, Khan is claiming he was told that he had won the fight, and I had it recorded, and after watching it again, you can see Khan almost celebrating before the decision.
However, no matter what, I believe Khan has been shown as quite average if i'm honest. I think Bradley would beat him fairly easily.

Re: Boxing discussion
So Van Damme is to blame. I knew I was right to hate him all along! Shit actor.
The rest is just ridiculous. Amir Khan would have his ass handed to him by Mayweather. Wouldn't even be a close fight. Floyd would beat him up and then knock him out.

Mayweather's official twitter and facebook: "Manny Pacquiao I'm calling you out let's fight May 5th and give the world what they want to see. My Jail Sentence was pushed back because the date was locked in. Step up Punk."

Re: Boxing discussion
Still can't see it happening, apparently the fight with Robert Guerrero is as good as signed.
The Pacquiao camp has already said that Pacquaop can't fight because of his cut sustained in the Marquez fight (which I think is an excuse), so Mayweather has obviously used this to call out Pacquiao and make it public knowledge that it's Pacquiao who won't agree to the fight. Very smart.

Re: Boxing discussion
Got to admit I was really disappointed to hear Mayweather vs Guerrero is a more or less done deal although I'm delighted for Guerrero If this happens considering what he and his family has been through I still feel this is a bogus fight and a waste especially at 147.
Saying that I'm sure Roberto will step aside If a bigger fight comes along for Mayweather for the right fee.

Re: Boxing discussion
Richard Schaefer has said the Guerrero fight won't happen If a Pacquiao fight does not happen It seems a fight with Saul "Canelo" Alvarez will happen which would huge especially on Cinco de Mayo.

Re: Boxing discussion
It's too early for Canelo to be getting in with Floyd. And he'd have to come down in weight I'd imagine because I don't think Floyd will go to 154.
