How can you not see that it is Mayweather VS Cotto after I've just posted four articles that saying the fight IS happening, he got licensed for it today.

I have a mate who is a HUGE boxing fan and he is pissed!!! He really wants Manny and Floyd to fight and thinks that that should be the only fight that either of these guys should be having.

It is frustrating, they both just seem to be fighting opponents that each of them has already beat, Pacman's last 2 fights were against Mosley and Marquez after Mayweather destroyed him, and now Mayweather is fighting Cotto who Pacquiao has already destroyed, although I am looking forward to Mayweather VS Cotto.
Pacquiao expected to face Bradley now in June, routine victory there and then HOPEFULLY we can see Mayweather VS Pacquiao next because there isn't really anybody else either of them could fight anyway.

Re: Boxing discussion
The Mayweather vs Pacman saga is just as bad as all the years of hoping Fedor would come to the UFC.
I've just about given up all hope of this one ever happening to be honest.
I am looking forward to watching Ffloyd take on Cotto though.

It will happen one day, in a way all this drama will make the anticipation for the fight even better.

Not sure how anyone could be upset with this fight. Cotto vs Floyd will be great and IMO a better fight than Manny vs Floyd.

Two of the greats. Goody was hugely under-rated by a lot of people. The work he did with Hagler was fantastic.

Re: Boxing discussion
Vitali was already going to beat him, now he's going to destroy him. What a stupid move by "DelBoy". Why would you piss off Vitali of all people?
Looking forward to a good night of boxing tomorrow night.

Re: Boxing discussion
It wouldn't surprise me if Frank Warren told him to do something memorable to get everybody talking about it so that more people will order BoxNation to watch it tomorrow. Then again, Chisora is a lunatic, so he probably just decided to do it himself.

Chisora is a disrespectful bitch! Klitschko will take his head off tomorrow! Can anyone explain what has merited Chisora this shot?

To be fair, he would have beat Robert Helenius if it wasn't for some very bad judging, and he is seen as the number 3 heavyweight in the world. He isn't any worse than any of the other fighters that the Klitschko's have fought over the years.
Chisora might be getting fined £50,000 for his slap on Vitali, and earlier this week Chisora turned down £70,000 to have a sponsor on the soles of his shoes. That's a £120,000 turn around in the space of a few days.

Re: Boxing discussion
Granted it may have been a dodgy decision, but it's beyond me how he's got a title shot by losing 2 out of his last 3. Does show how week the division is.

Re: Boxing discussion
Yes but the loss against Helenius wouldn't have counted if the judges had been watching the fight, everybody in boxing is basically counting that as a win, so I think he is worthy of his shot. Definitely more worthy than Wladimir's next challenger, Jean Marc-Mormeck. The only opponent out there at the moment that you could argue deserves a shot against a Klitschko is Alexander Povetkin. David Haye will be at ringside for the Vitali fight so that tells me we'll be seeing Vitali VS Haye very soon.
