I'd of preferred it if we could of signed Bertrand or even got Shorey back,but I have to say,I'm happy with the Konchesky signing,we were desperate for a LB,and at this level I think you can do far worse than him.

Replacing Lynch for Konchesky has definitely improved our back 5,which is already the second best in this league.

i watched sky sports news at 11pm and it was weird seeing torres in a chelsea shirt and carroll in a liverpool one.

With torres joining chelsea we badly needed a striker with suarez so im happy enough even if he was way overpriced. Not happy we didnt get charlie adam was really looking forward to see how he would do at a top team

Carrol cost Liverpool more than David Villa cost Barcelona!

70 million plus is a lot to spend on two players, but I hope Torres can re-discover his form. Luiz looks like a good defender, Highly regarded by the Benfica fans.
