It's always a bad idea to bet on a Carlton Cole hat-trick, and an even worse idea to bet on West Ham to score next.

Did you not see Cole's finish for his first goal? Clinical.

I'd actually just turned the game back on and thought I'd try and make it a bit more interesting... fail.

Quite unlucky though, Arshavin was not offside. They didn't play well but they were unlucky. Arsenal will never win anything until they start becoming consistent. I can't think of many teams that can beat Barcelona 1 week and then fail to be beat the likes of Ipswich and Leeds the next.

Did you bother watching the game?? Arsenal had 60% possession, 60% territory advantage, double the amount of shots, fair more chances and United committed double the amount of fouls in an attempt to stop Arsenal playing.

Arsenal completely outplayed United. It's not even debatable. United defended very well(not surprising considering they had SEVEN defenders on the pitch) and used the counter attack very well. Van Der Sar was man of the match, Vidic and Smalling were United's best players. That tells the story of the game. Arsenal dominated and were let down by a poor defence, poor finishing and a horrendous goalkeeper.

Big night for the Brit's in the Europe League.


Liverpool and Man City have to come from behind and Rangers need to try keep a clean sheet to have any chance.
