James Thompson is a glass Jawed Bum, Paul Kelly is an absolute warrior surely he has to go in over him! Kelly got a few ribs smashed in his last fight and fought on... and has only lost 2 off his 11 fights, James Tompson has 2 wins in his last 12 fights... please tell me thats a Joke! scratch

I really didnt realised glass Jaw had so many losses recently! I heard that he used to be a Gypsy removed... im sure he didnt have much luck with that profession! lol!

All we need to know about Thompson is that he was knocked out by Neil Grove in 10 seconds, and his wiki page states that he's best known as a fighter who gets knocked out in the first round of all his fights.

He has no place on any top 10 of anything lists!

What annoys me the most about him is that if I had his physique I'd be wrecking people by day and filming porno by night, but to my knowledge he's doing neither!

Comment of the year! Maby all those "Official Overeem Supliments" have done damage downstairs! Id say years as a bodybuilder taking all sorts of god knows what has ruined any chance of that Porno career!

He is a monsterous big guy alright, his Size has saw him through his wins but his technique is so poor and you cant fix a chin like his! His Only good recent win was Don Frye but Frye is as shot as Ken Shamrock, loosing to Peewee and Minowa as well

I'll be out of here asap mate, it sure does blow having to come in on Christmas Eve! All I'm doing is listening to Planet Rock and reading the internet even though I actually have a million things to do.... ah they can all wait until the New Year!

I've got enough alcohol in to sink a battleship, so I'll be in a chair demanding refills and watching TV for the next 10 days as a man should!! Looking forward to seeing Evans and Silva next weekend, might even take out some old classic Pride events to stick on the DVD player and bore everyone else in my family! Nothing clears a room faster than Ultimate Fedor in my house!

Have a great one anyway bro, catch you later.

I put him in because I kind of feel sorry for him, always getting KOed, one of the worst chins in MMA ect. I think bum is harsh, he beat Severn and Frye so he can't be that bad. He deserves a little more recongintion than just another bum. Still I think Kelly is technihcally superior and much more promosing, so he goes in.

    And Happy Christmas lads! santa

    Yeah, I'd say so.

18-2-1, only recent loss is to Hatsu Hioki. Plus he can actually wrestle, he was able to positionally control Shigeki Osawa, one of Japans top prospects - an all Japan Champion who is likely going to London 2012.

Sass is like a lesser Aoki. But he's a purple belt, whilst Aoki was already a black belt, tapping other good black belts like Hironaka when he was Sass's age. What's he going to do when he fights one of the many lightweight black belts? Or a good wrestler?

Sass is good but Mann's style will take him further. Trust me, after his Sengoku contract finishes, the WEC will snap him up.

Sass has awful stand-up, poor take-downs, decent but not great BJJ but an amazing triangle. I agree with Sun, Ronnie Mann is much better.

I should also add that even though his last fight was a split decision, it was a Dunham-Griffin/Melendez-Guida level retarded split decision. One judge was picking lint out of his pockets rather than watching the fight or something.

Sass cant keep pulling guard and rely on subbing people of his back at this level. He will get exposed in the UFC.

Yeah sure, he probably will get found out soon, but as of yet he hasn't. People keep saying Brock Lesnar will get found out sooner or later and he's still ranked #1 in the world.

All i'm saying is it's harsh to call out Sass for being 1 dimensional, when thus far that one dimension has served him bloody well!

Sass is not even one dimensional. Brock Lesnar is one dimensional. Take them down and punch them in the face. That's a dimension. Having one aspect of one dimension doesn't even qualify as one dimension. His BJJ is nothing special. Just his triangles that are amazing.

And Lesnar has been found out, by Mir and Carwin.

Bisping isn't top 10 in a Middleweight division with about 8 top fighters. Hardy is top 10 in a tougher Welterweight division, and has been top 5.

Hardy remains number 1 UK fighter for me.

Fair enough on Sass i suppose thats a good point, haven't seen him against tough enough competition yet so cant really judge.

Hardy was top 5? Really, when was this? After his run of wins against Gono (Split Dec), Markham (lol), Davis (Split Dec) and Swick?

As far as I can remember he was top 5 when he fought GSP.

    GSP-Fitch-Kos-Alves-Hardy

was the top 5 i think.

Regardless, he was and is top 10 in a tougher division than Bisping fights in.
