After Strikeforce Melendez is over Tyson griffin for sure!

Jacare replaces Khalidov for 10spot at Mw. Mw is actually getting to be a stacked devision, theres some competition for top 10, Sexyama, Khalidov, Santiago, Palhares etc.. arent top 10!!! The devision wasnt looking good for a while but has really picked up. Ive added Cung Le to Just missed out and Smith had to go on there too because he won!

Added King Mo to the Just missed out at Lhw after another very impressive win.

    MW

Lawler isn't top 10 IMO, Khalidov or Sexyama to replace him. I don't like him but surely Okami has got to atleast be on the missed out list, if he wins his next match he should be back in.

    WW
Swick looks way too high for me, he should atleast be behind Zaromskis.

    LW
Kawajiri looks way too high as well. Not sure he is top 10, never mind 6th. His last big win was over the overated JZ, who hasn't won in two years. He has wins over average fighters and a few cans and before that he lost to Melendez. Maynards record is much better. If he beats Diaz he definitley should go above him but id put him over him now.

    Sexyama top 10? No.

Lawlor is top 10 but prob number 10. Think Jacare should be above him Lindland should be on the just missed out list. He was one of the top few in the world before the Vitor fight.

Shit yeah Okami is on the just missed out list, he was ranked in the top 10 before last fight, I must have just deleted him. Im happy moving Robbie Lawlor down. I cant remember how he got so high!! I dont rate him that highly. I think Jacare is much better... Also It seems wrong Sonnen is better than Filho or Jacare... those rankings look off to me now! maby thats my Bios towards sonnen because he is boring but happy to move Lawlor down, he hasnt fought since Shields beat him.

    Can
    Can
    Kang-top 10 (at the time)
    Manhoef-top 10 (at the time)

Undefeated in 14 fights only loss to HW JLB.

    Kang> Trigg

    Manhoef> can

Sexyama 3-2 Lawler. Santigo is overated and Khalidov only got in for beating him.

I already discussed the rest on Lawler in another thread.

Lawler is not a top 10 fighter, even if Sexyama doesn't go in, Il be happy with Khalidov. Jacare is definitley above him as are a few more, but Lawler is not top 10.

    10. Gilbert Melendez
Just missed out: Tyson Griffin, Mizuto Hirota, Josh Thompson, Joe Stevenson, Takanori Gomi, Sean Sherk, JZ Cavalcante, Efrain Escudero

I might be pushing this a little, But I do think Thompson is top 10. He was before his injuries and ok he lost but I think he could be top 10. Crusher looks really high here and so does Sanchez. The division is so stacked so its hard to take anyone down but when you have guys like Griffin, Hirota, Thompson, Daddy, Gomi and Sherk outside the top 10 it shows how stacked the division is.

How long before Escudero breaks the top 10? Of he beats Dunham, normally he would be very close but with so many other fighters there you can't do it.

    1.BJ Penn
    2.Aoki
    3.Alvarez
    4.Ben Stiller
    5.Maynard
    6.Yes Yes Yes
    7.Edgar
    8.Melendez
    9.Hellboy
    10.Thompson
    11.Crusher
    12.Griffin
    13.Gomi
    14.Daddy
    15.Hirota
    16.Sherk
    17.Guida
    18.JZ
    19.Riberio
    20.Diaz
    21.Escudero
    22.Joe Lauzon
    23.Tibau

And there are a lot more as well, you have guys like Pearson, Fisher, Stout, Kitakoa Guillard, Dunham, Tavares, Pellingrino who are all talented fighters as well. Its really stacked. I might have been a little harsh on Crusher in my thing.

JDS has the better wins than either Carwin or Cain so he dererves to be ahead of both. Rankings is about who you have beaten and how well you have beaten them, not about who is more hyped or who was promised a title shot etc....

I must say i was on the Carwin bandwagon after the GG fight but i think i might be switching to the JDS wagon now Surprised

I think Carwin will be found out against Mir, and Mir will not let him off the hook like Napao did. I was 50-50 on Cain-Nog but im thinking now that Nog will be too good for him on the ground and get the sub win.

JDS looked poor against a half hearted CroCop. JDS is hugely over-rated and both Carwin and Cain will bash him when they fight him.

He looked good in the third, when he stopped giving Cro Cop so much respect and he battered him bruttaly. Thats just a third of his potentiol.

Before Kang fought Sexyama he wa coming off a win over a loss and a split desicion to Misaki. Before that he was undefeated in 23 profesional fights, 21 wins, 1 draw and 1 no contest. Top 10. if he was ever top 10 this was it.

As for Manhoef, he was undefeated in 10 and had wins over Santos, Freeman and Crosley Gracie. Ok so he wasn't top 10 Laughing but he was atleast top 15 and a win over Manhoef is still better than a win over a can.

Manhoef is a horrible MMA game. He might be the worst ground fighter ever. Manhoef is a can in MMA. Take him off his feet and its all over.

Look at the bums Kang was beating though. Gone and Ninja were the only decent fighters he fought in that entire run.

Manhoef does indeed have a horrible all round game but he is a very good striker with a lot of power. He actually possibly does have the worst ground game in MMA, possibly even worse than Alexander if thats possible!

He has good wins over Saku and Hunt though among others. He is kind of a gatekeeper and Sexyama beat him, still better than the fighter Lawler beat. Can is harsh, just very one-dimensional.

Kang had good wins over Ninja, Suloev, Gono and Semenov. Not the most impressive lost but decent and if Lawler is top 10 NOW (which he isn't), Kang was definitley top 10 then.

Two decent wins for Sexyama better than Lawler's victories so thats why I say he is top 10. Id be happy with Khalidov there though.

Not many fighters like getting hit, unless you are fool like Junie Browning, what does that have to with anything?

Or Dos Santos could catch Velasquez shooting in for a takedown and send him to sleep. I like both these guys so im not going to predict which way it goes but it certainly isn't a foreglone conclusion like you make it out to be.

Yes he does, Werdum has an excellent chin and Dos Santos KOed him in one. Struve has a pretty decent chin as well and Dos Santos put him away quick. Even if he doesn't finish with one punch, if he tags Velasquez like Kongo did, he won't be stupid enough to go into the clinch Laughing haha he will follow up like he did against Struve. Dos Santos has much quicker hands than Kongo does.

And Kongo's power is well overated. Dos Santos in a 10 fight career has 7 Kos/Tkos with one clean KO over Werdum. Kongo has 9 Kos/Tkos with 2 clean Kos over bums. in a 21 fight career. Dos Santos has a better KO/TKO percentage.
