I don't often get involved in match up stuff Red, but you are joking surely? Maia could stand Bisping tapping his face and take him down surely? Then he would turn him inside out??redmeanie77 wrote:Palhares could literally snap one of Bisping limbs off, that would be a bad match up for Bisping, as Palhares would take it too him in the standup and not just sit back like some of Bispings most recent opponents and also Bisping would be a fool to try to mix in takedowns with his standup which he has been doing recently.
And Sonnen would ofcourse molest Bisping for 15 mins, if Bisping lasts that long. I think Bisping will fight the loser of Anderson-Belfort next, and i dont think that would go to well for him either.
Out of all the top guys at MW in UFC, Bisping's best chance is against Maia. And i think Maia would win that exchange more often than not.

“I don’t want to fight the loser, I wouldn’t mind fighting the winner, but I don’t want to fight losers. I want to fight winners. If they’ve just lost a fight, they’re not doing anything for me. They’re at the back of the line. There are plenty of good contenders. I’ve got to build on this win. One more good solid win against a good name opponent, I think I deserve a title shot. But I need one more win.”
“The Dan Henderson fight, that’s the only fight I’ve lost at middleweight. I know it’s controversial to say it, but I feel I beat Wanderlei Silva. Other than that, I’ve beaten Wanderlei, Denis Kang, Dan Miller, now Akiyama, so I feel I’m ready. But obviously there are other guys out there in the same position. One more victory over one of those guys puts me there.”
You would think Bisping would be happy to fight the loose who will still probabally be top 10 when he isnt top 10.
What a prick, if a higher ranked guy is coming off a loss is still ranked over him he should consider it a step up. I say let him get beat down by Wanderlei again. I love him saying he won, The picture of him in a heap and Wanderlei celebrating really sums up the fight, Bisping got put down and a punch away from being finished and he thinks he won! What a bitter prick the fact Matt Hamill was robbed against him you think he would just accept sometimes decisions arent going to be handed to you!
I really want Wanderlei to rematch him insted of fighting Leben.

Yep, if Maia were to fight Bisping, i would predict Maia taking him down and submitting him. The reason i say Maia is his best chance is because there always a chance Bisping would punch Maia and then run away for the whole 15 mins. Its about the only thing he could do in that case.
Bottomline is that, if he fought Nate, Anderson, Belfort he will get knocked out. Palhare could knock him out or submit him with ease. If he fought Sonnen or Okami he will get taken down and dominated. So hitting and running against Maia is his best option....

The_Axe_Emperor wrote:Brazilian heavyweight Vinicius Kappke de Quieroz has allegedly tested positive for the steroid Stanozolol following his UFC 120 undercard loss to Rob Broughton on Oct. 16 in London.
News of Quieroz's test and subsequent release from the company was first reported by MMAJunkie.com on Tuesday morning, and later confirmed by Marc Ratner, UFC vice president of regulatory affairs. Since UFC 120 took place in England, the UFC acted as its own regulatory body, performing the services typically reserved for state athletic commissions in the United States. Headlining fighters Michael Bisping and Yoshihiro Akiyama tested clean, as did six other randomly-chosen fighters.
Quieroz made his UFC debut in London and was on a four-fight winning streak before falling to Broughton. The Chute Boxe product is a knockout specialist, having notched all five of his career victories by KO. In his fight with Broughton, however, the “Spartan” was unable to put the Brit away early and became noticeably fatigued as the fight wore on. Broughton pounced on the hulking Brazilian in round three and sent him packing with a rear-naked choke.
Stanozolol is an anabolic steroid derived from testosterone, developed in 1962 by Winthrop Laboratories. Unlike many other steroids, which must be injected, Stanozolol may be taken in tablet form. Commonly sold under the name Winstrol, the steroid is sometimes prescribed to treat anemia and hereditary angioedema. The UFC will reportedly release the findings against Quieroz to the Nevada State Athletic Commission, which may affect the fighter's license eligibility in the United States in the future.
