Hellboy, Rampage, Gomi...

Just a quick update, Dana White just said that Gomi could be next in line of a shot a BJ Penn if he beats KFLO, heres hoping he does. Im a fan of both but Gomi vs Penn is a figth I really want to see, I hope Gomi preforms well in such a high profile fight starting him in UFC.

Hellboy has said that he cut to Fw because he wasnt even making 155lbs and everyone else seems to be cutting weight these days! He said that he isnt open to fighting with UFC (strange thing to say because UFC doesnt have a 145lbs devision!) I assume he ment WEC which is a huge shame Hellboy vs Aldo would be all out war!!! Anyway he said that he is open to fighting in the states in Strikeforce.

Ramapge has just given an interview to say after the Evans fight his contract is done and he is through with UFC. He said Dana had promised him a fight with Machida if he did TUF, then when the Evans fight was made UFC made him look like he ducked Machida... He said that UFC had no loyalty to him (Despite saving his ass from rail!) Anyway he talked some shit about how much he admires actors etc.. and didnt have much love for the fight game... fuck him, hope Evans KO's him! Ramapge has been smoking and drinking and is walking about very heavy. Wolfslair isnt the best Gym for him to be at either, Im hoping for Evans and fully expecting him to beat Ramapge despite the size difference.

How bad would it be for the UFC if Rampage KOs Evans and then walks to Strikeforce? Winner or Evans-Page is number 1 contender! That'd be too number 1 contenders off the SF in the last few months.


Interesting about Hellboy, Strikeforce must be considering the lower weightclasses

Rampage is a big draw. He'll be an even bigger draw after the A-Team film comes out.

That's why he'd be great for Strikeforce.

Ramapge is SF would be great, Him vs Fedor/Mousasi/Mo would be great fights! The thing is I heard Rampage say he was just going to go into acting and do the odd Boxing match! I dont see him doing MMA again if he is getting better money elsewere. I hope the Ateam Bombs and his acting work dries up (Sorry uncle Laim! )

I don't think there's much money for him in boxing. He hasn't got the handspeed or footwork to be a top boxing. And he'd be fighting at CruiserWeight where there's little or no money. Strikeforce would be his best bet. 3 fights a year. Well paid. Fighting quality guys like Hendo, Mousasi, Mo, Babalu and possibly Fedor. Plenty of time to act and no pressure. Look how well Strikeforce have treated Cung Le. That's what Rampage needs.

Agreed mate SF is the perfect fit for him, like you said they let their fighters act like Cung Le... or just fuck off and take steroids in Japan like Overeem! They do give their fighters a lot of freedome. Its a great fit for him.

I dont think he has a future in boxing, I watched him and Mosley hit the Heavybag and I genuinley think if Boxing did openweight fights Mosley would rip him apart. Maby he could fight Holyfield! But seriously Boxing isnt MMA you cant walk into a high profile fight because you are famous in another sport etc..

Mo-Rampage would be quality. If Evans beats him he might want to stay away from Mo though. Mo fights like Rashad only he's a better wrestler and he's got more power IMO!

Mo hasnt really been tested yet, cant wait to the Mousasi fight, its going to tell us a lot about him.

I think Mousasi will be too much for Mo at the minute.

Mo doesn't have the quality of striking that Rashad has, but his power is HUGE.

I wouldnt mind seeing Shogun dish out some more of this to Rampage....
