Running back? Those are the legs of a fucking buffalo, just WOW Exclamation

Tua is a beast, I'd love to see him in K'1 but I do think reach would be a problem to a certain extent. Still he has enough skill and certainly enough power to KO anyone there. I doubt he will leave boxing now though, how old is he now? 35+ atleast now.

A lot of these kickboxing champions in most countires are actually complete shit. Remember Pudz's first opponent? Ye, a Polish kickboxing champion.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tua won a K1 GP in his 1st attempt.

Unless he sucks at taking kicks and crumbles,I don't think many K1 guys will finish him and I don't think many of them will be standing if he connects.

I think out of the few boxers that have taken on K1 like Botha and Sprott,he is probably the best equipt for it,though he will still have the same problems he sometimes faced in boxing, range and speed.

For the STRIKEFORCE and M-1 Global: Fedor vs. Werdum event…

Strikeforce has announced that for the first time in the history of Mixed Martial Arts, the No. 1 male and female fighters in the world will step into the cage on the same night as the top men's heavyweight Fedor "The Last Emperor" Emelianenko (31-1), and STRIKEFORCE Women's World Middleweight (145 pounds) Champion Cris Cyborg (9-1) return to action at HP Pavilion here on Saturday, June 26. Fedor will face off with two-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu world champion and top-ranked superstar Fabricio "Vai Cavalo" Werdum (13-4) in the evening's main event. Cyborg's opponent has not been confirmed yet.

Womens MMA = Sick and Wrong! Laughing

I was just thinking there may be more money in the K-1 WGP than the level of Boxing he is doing right now unless he makes a last run at the title like planned. Still If the money was good Id love to see him have a crack at it. Id love to know what if it would be worth his while money wise.

Red I forgot about the event! Time for Monson to really Bulk down to 205 again if he can. Take a holiday, Stop lifting weights and taking Sterious all day. He is a good enough Grappler to be threat to so many 205ers... Shame.

was that the same matchup that was supposed to be on strikeforce?

Does anyone know Overeems K-1 schedule this year? Is he in the K-1 GP again this year? I hope they can agree on a date this year for the Fedor fight, but knowing M-1 and how often Overeem likes to fight in US, im not overly optimistic that it will happen this year.

I think he is fighting K-1 again this year there was talk of him fighting his teammate Schilt! that would be a war! I dont think he mentioned the GP, the Schilt fight may be a 1 off but it was just a rumour I heard a while ago.

I wonder what he will do in the meantime? I guess he will just wait around on the winner of Fedor vs Werdum, I dont think he will fight MMA again and risk loosing out on a crack at Fedor. I think it will happen because Fedors only other option is Bigfoot and Werdum beat him, it would seem a step backwards in competition... not a huge one but still not a step in the right direction.

    Aleks to fight this guy...

    http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Miodrag-Petkovic-6244

    22nd may....

Fuck sake Aleks... getting bored of his bum of the month routine! I Think if he keeps fighting fighters of such low level Ill have to slide him down the rankings, its like being inactive. If any of the fighters below him get a reputable win there moving over him.

Biggest waste of tallent in MMA without a doubt... as crazy as it sounds M-1 would probabally really help the guy out! Laughing

I hope Ricco destroys Morris and Monson. That would surely be enough to get him back into the UFC? I hope.

Filho was telling the truth about 3 fights in no time, one against Kang!!! Ill believe it when I see it but Filho is a tallent when he is on form, this could be a chance for him to put himself back into the spotlight.... UFC could be a possibility for him too? If he can show he isnt a liability! Laughing

Good ol Monson will fight all 3 no doubt! I can see Ricco winning them, Monson has really slowed down recently, Maby he needs to do what Overeem did and lay off the roids for a bit! Laughing im sure he will beat Morris too.

Some good names on the cards, impressive stuff.

I actually picked Filhio to beat Lombard, but ofc they didn't fight. Rolling Eyes

I really like Filhio (as a fighter), he has top BJJ and good wrestling, he is very similar to Arona in style. His standup needs a little bit of work but he hasn't really needed it in the past. If he can get back on form, there is no reason why he couldn't be top 2 again.

I'd like to see him in the UFC, I think he would defintley beat the majoirty of guys there. Maia, Bisping, Coté & Belcher (as much as I hate to admit it Evil or Very Mad )Sexyama, possibly Wandy. I would give him a good chance to beat Sonnen in there rubber, Shields if he ends up there, Belfort and even Nate. I don't know if he will fight but he has as good a chance as any to beat Silva.

haha gotta love Aleks! He really hasnt high hopes for himself! I think that Boxing match made him really doubt himself! Laughing Maby there is no email in Russia and his people cant get a hold of Dream and Sengoku because there has to be a reason he isnt even trying to get on those cards, he fought in Japan before and im sure the money is better.

Really think that much of Filho Chelsea? He used to be a monster, he was top 2 for ages I think but you would wonder if Maia or Palhares could tap him? There are a few great matchups but yeah fighers like Sexyama, Belcher, Wanderlei would be very winnable fights for him. As much of a cock as he comes across Id like to see him win here and get into UFC.

Ye I really do, he is a very talented fighter. I like Arona as well and Filho fights a lot like him. I think he would beat Maia, ye he isn't as good as the ground but he is a better striker and wrestler. If he avoids Maia's judo throws I think he would win comfortably, Miller survived on the ground against Maia, there is no reason Filho shouldn't. Palhares is a little tougher because he is also a good wrestler and there standup is more even. With that being said, there BJJ is also closer, That would be an extremly competetive fight. Filho's conditioning would be a concern there.

    Baroni back at UFC 108

    http://mmajunkie.com/news/19183/welterweight-phil-baroni-returns-at-ufc-118-opponent-yet-to-be-determined.mma

No opponent, No mention of the weight. Baroni had said he wanted to move back to Mw because the cut drains him so much. He got in great shape over in Thailand so maby he will stay at Welter. Id love him to string togeather a few wins and get a crack at Marcus Davis. Baroni vs Serra is one people wanted to see, again Baroni needs a win before he can even think of that level of fighter right now.

Murilo Bustamante back at Impact against Jesse Taylor july 18th!

Didnt expect him to come back! Hope he wins, Itd be cool to see a few legends fight again. If he wins Id love him to fight Frank Shamrock or maby Pat Miletich who said he would go upto 185lbs to fight Frank... Or even a fight with Sakuraba? Id love to see a few of the old less competitive legends mix it up.

a 29-11-1 guy who has beaten Hague, Fulton and Pokrajac (twice) is hardly "bum of the month".

but not the greatest competition either. Razz

I like how people are shocked as Filho fighting 3 times in 2 weeks, but Monson is on all 3 cards and no-one bats an eyelid Laughing

Not quite bum of the month but still a poor standard of opposition. He is 1-1 with HAUGE, who as we know is complete crap. Prokjarc sucks and Fulton probably fought 5 mins before he faced him.

Still anything is better than Alek's last opponent.
