Re: MMA Calendar
Said it before and ill say it again, they may not have the roster of the UFC but SF's matchmaking is incredible sometimes, this one cant fail to be a war!!!!
I didnt know Daley trained with Manhoef!! Id even be shit scared to hold a pad for Melvin! Id love to see Manhoed go to 205 and fight Houston Alexander.

Re: MMA Calendar
Daley vs Cyborg is a fantastic fight and one that is absolutely 1,000,000,000,000% certain to be a war, but i only see it ending in a KO win for Daley, because he has a great chin, and i can't see Cyborg taking them hooks for 15 minutes.
Would be funny if one of the them took the other down and lay'n'prayed for 15 minutes! Funny, but not entertaining.

Paul Daley trains at Rough House in Nottingham and Vos Gym in Amsterdam. Melvin Manhoef trains at Mike's Gym in Amsterdam. I don't think they do train together.

Haha yeah I know mate, that and the Cung Smith comeback KO's were something special! And IMO Lawler was getting it 10X worse. Lawler wouldnt last a round in a rematch.

yeah i knew i heard it before so i just said it :S...what i am actually thinking of is when melvin was training for DREAM MW GP and Daley for Sheilds then they were training partners at mikes gym.
(maybe that explains daleys performance once the fight hit the ground )

Warren said he wanted Omigawa at D.16 but DREAM would not let him...he also said a rematch with Bibliano Fernandes for the belt is "a lock" for Dynamite!!

Re: MMA Calendar
excellent fight lined up by strikeforce lets hope daley can make weight this time, wasnt impressed with his performance in sharkfights. Read that daly is aiming for diaz which would be quality if daley can get a few wins on the go,
Whats everyone thoughts on diaz vs noons ? I much prefer it to the mayhem fight getting bored of these rivalries, fights are mostly a dissapointment

Re: MMA Calendar
I was abit gutted, when it was 1st announced because I wanted to see the Diaz,Mayhem fight, but putting that aside,I'm looking forward to it,should be a really good fight.
(you don't really ever see either of them in a bad fight do you)
I'm backing Diaz to take it in the latter stages of the fight, but It would be crazy to count out a guy with Noons, boxing and power, taking Diaz out, after all Noons was lighting Diaz up in there first fight, before it got stopped.

Thinking they'll break it up like this:
Jeff Monson vs Ricco Rodriguez - RubberMatch
Charles Bennett vs Hermes Franca
Sergei Shemetov vs Sokoudjou
Frank Trigg vs Roi Neeman(assuming it's the Israeli one i'm thinking of)

Re: MMA Calendar
A Monson rubbermatch would be great for Ricco, Wiki has his as fighing http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Mike-Perez-17873 a few weeks after his fight with Pee Wee. Perez is 6-7 but if he chalks up all 3 wins I say rate him top 15 and get the UFC to hurry the fuck up and sign him or SF will!
Soko is fighting Shamil Abdurahimov in the final of that Openweight tournament isnt he?
Crazy Horse vs Franca would be a great fight, striker vs fucky my BJJ BB lets bang... I love to see it. Always was a fan of Franca.
