Couture moves up a spot with a win over Coleman
Coleman drops out of the top 15 and is replaced by Vera (Anyone want Vera over the Janitor?)

Sonnen Moves Over Marquardt with a win Over him... I was thinking Sonnen 5th, Nate 6th. I thought as much as I hate him Shields diserves 4th cause he hasnt lost in a long time.

Alos at Mw Lombard picked up another win and moves up a place.

At welterweight Swick moves down to were Thiago was and Thiago moves just over Kos due to the recent win over him. I moved Im putting Swick under Zaromskis as he has lost 2 recently.

At HW : Maybe put Tuchsherer and Joey Beltran on just missed out. (You have Lasley in there after all)

At LHW: Vera should be ranked over Janitor, Phil Davis just missed out

MW: Sonnen beat a very top ranked opponent yesterday, pretty convincingly. Perhaps deserves a place over Shields.

WW: Paulo thiago over Semtex? anyone?

Guillard and Ronnys Torres on just missed out?

    Cheers for the feedback mate.

Guilard added, Janitor and Vera swapped after all I think Vera won and If Couture moves up the ranks Vera diserves credit for such a close fight agaisnt a top ranked guy.

Tuchs and Beltran are both Shite... Ill stick Tuchs on because he got a half decent win, Beltran is a Cage Rage class figher though, hasnt a decent win to his name and should have put Gracie away more convincingly, the way Gracie was flopping limply at him he should have punished him with some uppercuts or Knees.

Id be all for putting Paulo Thiago over Semtex... lets see what everyone else has to say before we change it.

Yeah, i'd agree with Thiago over Semtex. Personally i'd have him over Hardy too. I think Hardy will drop a few spots after GSP mauls him.

I dont want to jump him up too high with one win, Ill move him over Semtex then... Like you say Hardy can wait to drop down after GSP rapes him! Laughing

I don't think Beltran deserves to be included. Al Turk could have beaten Gracie last night.

He beat Kos as well though. And gave Fitch a good fight. I think if he fought Fitch again he could beat him. Swick was top 10 not long ago. Hardy is highly ranked for a disputed win over Davis and a decision over Swick. Thiago KO'd Kos and tapped Swick. Semtex has blasted out too guys who are somewhere between 11-20. But when he fought a really top fighter, he was made look awful.

Agree, Rolles might be the worst fighter in the UFC.

Haha Id have had a crack at beating him myself... Worst Cardio in MMA? I think Tank Abbott has more in the gas tank even after 10 pints! Beltran is a Bum and was just being brough in to be fed to Gracie... although having said that he is another perfect Kimbo opponent.

Yeah you make a fair point about Paulo Thaigo he beat Swick much more convincingly and a win over Kos is much much bigger than a win over Marcus Davis.... Im happy enough to swap them places, credit were credit is due for beating Swich and Kos and finishing them both inside the distance.

Cannot beleive i was so excited about Rolles, huge let down. For a guy who has been training in mma for 5 years, he didnt look it.

i think Sonnen goes over Sheilds for certain Sheilds has wins over Mayhem and Lawler.

in a similar time frame Sonnen has wins over Miller, Okami and MARQUADT. It could be argued that he beat the #2 ranked fighters in his last 2 fights.

plus he has a whole MW career backing his recent explots up whilst Sheilds has a predominantly welterweight record.

Hendo's been number 2 since he entered the UFC IMO. Okami never deserved a shot, he was getting one because Anderson wanted the fight to wipe off that loss. Nate was prob number 3. just over Vitor. Sonnen or Shields sit at 5. I'm not pushed on which. I think Shields will drop down after Hendo sparks him. But any top class BJJ blackbelt with a good bottom game will beat Sonnen IMO.

Sonnen has 8 submission losses, that shows a massive weakness in his game. He also lost to Jeremy Horn 3 times. I don't think using his past career is much of a benefit to him over Shields.

Id probably have Shields where he is , Lawler and Mayhem were good wins. SOnnen lost three fights ago, its close, Id be happy with either.

Rolles Gracie put on one of the worst performances ive ever seen, abysmal. He wouldn't look out of place with the TUF 10 cast.

Has anyone seen the FIGHT! magazine rankings.

pretty controversial, on the one hand they work it out mathematically and thus it is totally fair and they can compile a top 100 of rankings.

on the other hand, there are the lists:

    for example

    http://www.fightmagazine.com/mma-rankings/mma-middleweight-rankings.asp

Sonnen at 1 ahead of Anderson and Minowa. wTf?

    Ninja at 88?

at least its a decent evidence to say "fighter X isnt even top 50!" or thats "3 top 30 wins in a row".

The Heavyweight rankings are pretty ridiculous:

Barnett at 4, above Nog and Mir, despite his ban.

Monson number 6, again above Mir, and Overeem and Carwin.

A very premature number 3 for Velasquez.

At least Kimbo is 45 Very Happy

Wow thats pretty cool! Nice to see Minowa and Sakuraba ranked so high! But then again Id love to see how they are worked out, Jason Guida is better than Non Ranked Aleks Emelianenko Laughing It cant take into account how good you looked in victory or how badly you lost

Sonnen best Mw, Alek not ranked at heavyweight, Jose Aldo number 3 at Fw! Faber and MTB werent the ones above him!, Monson above Mir? There are a few that made me laugh!

How are these worked out though?

not sure exactly how it works, but they only take into account particular fights, mainly from the big orgs.

alot of fighters only have small changes because of this, but Minowaman is 16-13 and Monson is 7-4!!
