Apparently Lesnar is meeting his doctors next week to be evaluated. It's possible we may have seen the last of Brock in MMA.

do you have a link for that? would be a shame, he never had the chance to really get the doubters off his back.

Re: Decision on Lesnar next week.
I certainly hope not, I may has slated him in the past, but I came to repect his ability, an the way he adapted the switch from fake wrestling to a competitive contact sport.
Plus, he was always improving, we may never know how good he could be, or if he could beat Fedor. And I am/was really looking forward to Lesnar Mir 3.

Franklin McNeil reported it on MMA live. Frank Mir was sitting beside him. He looked crushed when he heard. He didn't seem to know what to say.

Re: Decision on Lesnar next week.
I guess we will be expecting an announcement from Brock and UFC any day now. There have been strong reports from last few days that Carwin-Mir will definatly be for interim title, so that suggest to me that they wont strip Brock of the title and he will comeback and unifie the title in summer maybe or later in the year.

Re: Decision on Lesnar next week.
Yeah Frank was in bits when he heard that on MMA Live, looked as though his mum just told him his hamster had died while he was at school.
I'm not really fussed if we never see Lesnar again for any reason other than I would love to have seen the Mir rubber match.... Frank seems so sure he can beat him again, and if he beats Carwin it could have been an epic trilogy.
Hopefully Brock is well enough to at least do some colour commentary or something in the future, I don't like him one bit but obviously don't wish him any ill, and he could probably talk some good smack with Rogan in the booth.

Re: Decision on Lesnar next week.
Cagepotato are reporting that Randy Couture has spoken to Brock Lesnar and he's back in training. Lesnar could be ready to fight as early as this spring.
If this is true why hasn't Brock or Dana said anything?

Re: Decision on Lesnar next week.
Lesnar returning Mach-May? That is great news! Ill be glad to see him back because the Hw scene is UFC was really picking up. I guess the Interim Title fight may not need to go ahead if Lesnar can fight the winner of Carwin vs Mir.
I wonder what that will mean? He could take some Time out and Carwin vs Mir winner could be ready for May? Lesnar could come back ready to go. Or he could take another fight, JDS would be ready to go right away... UFC wouldnt put a champ in a non Title fight but as much as Ive said in not sold on JDS he has done as much as anyone to earn a shot.
Yvel, Crocop, Werdum, Struve thats 4 great back to back wins and he has finished them all.
Thats probabally not too likely but it would make sence Timewise...
Crocop gets the winner of Nog vs Cain (assuming he wins) because I heard a Nog rematch was in his contract anyway.
Mir and Carwin will be fighting for the number 1 contenders fight the winner guarenteed a shot. But Lesnar may be coming back too soon for them to fight him so they can wait till he fights JDS and get the winner of that.
Id give JDS a shot if the Mir Carwin winner isnt ready for sure.

Re: Decision on Lesnar next week.
I wouldn't get your hopes up too much, as with many big stories, rumors fly around. The fact is, Dana and others have said that a 2010 return is unlikely, and to turn that around to spring this year? Highly ambitious and, unfortunately, probably nothing more than the internet getting a bit excited.
