K-1 World GP

Isn't great to have a competition like in K-1 where the best fighters in the world can come together and find out who is the true world number 1?

Anyone else wish MMA was like that? Neutral

Who is everyone picking? I don't get to see much K-1 so I am not too sure who will win. I am thinking Bonjasky because on paper he looks pretty damn good, although he has to get past Schilt who I don't think he has beaten.

Its realy up in the air, Schilt, Bonjasky, Badr Hari, Overeem. Theres 4 guys who all have a great chance of winning. Im going to go with Overoid. He Smashed Badr Hari last time they fought and should have beat Bonjasky on points... Its really up in the air. I dont think Schilt. I think his best days are behind him so its between the other 3 mentioned.

Im hoping for JLB. Id kill to see him win or even get past Schilt but I think he is also slowing down a bit... Cant wait for the K-1 GP like you say its a great event and will test who is the number 1 striker in the world.

Build up video... a lot in Japanese but JLB says its his last chance. Ill be really really gutted to see him loose to Schilt. There are worse fighers than him who have won the GP, this years GP should be one of the best for years.

Im just watching with with l lead hooked up to the computer, im sure someone will have a link to watch it live... If no one can find one its always on MMAlinker or somewhere. Ragain its not on tv anymore, it was the only good thing about Eurosport. I also loved the shittest commentator that did K-1 for Eurosport, he was so bad! I remember him saying "its like Ballet, except theres no muisc.... and their hitting each other" Classic line! as well as "hes on him like a drunk on a Kebab" Laughing
