Not many changes here at 205lbs Nog and Griffin swap places at 6th and 7th, Nog is on a 6 fight winning spree and beat a higher ranked opponent in more dominant performance. Also Im keeping Machida and Shogun both tied 1st to keep everyone happy! The real number 1 will only be decided in the rematch.

At 185lbs although Kalib Starnes isnt the biggest win another victory for Hector Lombard
moves him to the just missed out list.

At 170Lbs at win earns Paulo Thiago Matt Hughes 10th Spot. And Josh Koscheck moves up a place over Swick after a win over Rumble. Also Ben Saunders gets added to the Just missed out list after an impressive win over Marcus Davis who was a one time top 10 ranked by us.

    All good?

Personally I don't think JDS should be above Velasquez or Carwin.

I know were you are coming from I think Carwin and Maby Cain would beat him but after the beat Werdum who was top 10 he was ranked somewere like 8th, A win over Struve put him up a place and another win over Crocop who was top 15 ranked put him up again...

Carwin was top 10 before he beat Gonzaga and his 1 big win moved him up a few places as well as people ranked higher taking losses.

Cain's rankings is pretty fair, there isnt much in it between him and JDS, Cain has 2 big wins as well Kongo and Rothwell so JDS really has the biggest wins and has more fights under his belt. We do ranking after most events and JDS want bumper up too high he really moved up 1 place with each win after Werdum which I think it fair.

But I agree look at it is strange I think Carwin would steamroll either but he has earned a high ranking. 1 big win over a guy I dont think was top 10 at the time means he hasnt earned his spot. But his ranking doesnt really reflect his ability. I think ability wise he is top 5.

Done, I dont think his win over Paulo Thaigo moved him up a place in our rankings. I think Alves Smashes him if they meet again but yeah Fitch over Alves makes sence now.

Only because LW is so stacked, Why isnt Melendez? or Guida? Lw is by far the most stacked devision in MMA, Gomi isnt event top 10!! Its hard to crack the top 10 at Lw in MMA but a good win would certainly put him in contension. Who would you take out for him out of interest? Tyson Griffin? Thats a fight I wouldnt mind seeing. Tyson vs Stevenson
