Injury and recovery Empty Injury and recovery

Post  pinsman Mon Feb 14, 2011 9:51 pm

    Evening guys,

I had a bad accident during a rugby game on Saturday. A guy dived through the back of my elbow and it bent the wrong way ripping ligaments and i've got a possible fracture. Just wondered if any of you guys that train MMA have had a similar injury and what you did if anything to get up and running again as soon as poss.

I'm currently on trial with Coventry RFC so wanna get back fit quickly... also thought this would be a nice change to all the Fedor topics going down at the mo =)

Take off all your clothes, then stand for 30 seconds in a chamber where the air has been cooled to about -130°C

Mad as it sounds that -130 degrees chamber shit is all the rage in the states. Would certainly take down the inflammation I suppose!
