can anyone come up with a diagnosis, i got clocked in training 3 days ago and my nose wont stop bleeding, iv seen the gym doctor and my GP but both say nothing to worry about. its beginning to get on my nerves as every time a tilt my head forword blood gushes out. iv never had this before if anyone else has some advice would be cool as im sick of walking around with tissue hanging out of my nose.

Meanie's prob your best bet. I'd guess it's a ruptured capillary in your nose but I couldn't be certain.

If its still bleeding even after 3 days, i would get worried about that.

Ive got a few questions though, are you on any anti-coagulants medication? or do suffer from any bleeding disorders that make you bleed easily??

Usually a nose bleed if its posterior, will stop bleeding after a few hours. Anterior nose bleeds need medical treatment to make them stop and you do lose a large amount of blood and require emergency treatment on the same day. So the fact its been 3 days now makes me think its a posterior bleed, and your just an easy bleeder.....

If it doesnt resolve soon, or is still bothering you and causing discomfort, you should go see an ENT specialist. Also worth them making sure you dont have a nasal fracture also, or a deviated septum....

Ok hopefully it will resolve soon. There are some over the counter nasal sprays you can get that might help control the bleed.

Decongestants like Phenylephrine sometimes help. Let us now how you get on mate...
