    Fedor Emelianenko vs Cain Velasquez

Cain Velasquez defeats Fedor Emelianenko via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at 5:00 of RD 3.

Junior Dos Santos vs Alistair Overeem

Junior Dos Santos defeats Alistair Overeem via TKO (strikes) at 1:53 of RD 1.

    Josh Barnett vs Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar defeats Josh Barnett via TKO (strikes) at 2:46 of RD 2.

    Fabricio Werdum vs Frank Mir

Two ways I could see this going.
Option 1; Frank Mir defeats Fabricio Werdum via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
Or Option 2, which I'll go with; Fabricio Werdum defeats Frank Mir via guillotine choke at 2:21 of RD 1.

    Shane Carwin vs Antonio Silva

Shane Carwin defeats Antonio Silva via KO (punch) at 1:35 of RD 1.

Brett Rogers vs Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira

Brett Rogers defeats Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira via TKO (strikes) at 4:47 of RD 2.

    Sergei Kharitonov vs Roy Nelson

Sergei Kharitonov defeats Roy Nelson via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-26, 30-26) at 5:00 of RD 3.

    Andrei Arlovski vs Brendan Schaub

Andrei Arlovski defeats Brendan Schaub via Split Decision (30-27, 29-28, 28-29) at 5:00 of RD 3.

    == ==

    Few explanations for my choices.

I think Cain would lose the first round on the feet against Fedor, then take control in round 2 and 3 by using his wrestling to grind Fedor down.

Overeem would wilt as soon as he was hit by JDS.

Barnett vs Mir would go the same as Brock- Mir 2 IMO.

Mir and Werdum are both top level BJJ practitioners but i think, as Vai Cavalo has the edge, that he'd be the one and only person to submit Mir in MMA (not including strikes Laughing)

Carwin would blast away the plodding Big Foot.

Nog would take Rogers down and outgrapple him in the first round, then try the same in round two only to get reversed and pounded out.

Sergei vs Nelson would be the same as JDS- Nelson.

Arlovski and Schaub would stand and trade for the whole fight with Andrei coming away with a close but deserved decision victory.

Fedor over Cain via Submission in the second round.

    Overeem over JDS via UD

Barnett over Lesnar by any way he chooses.

Werdum over Mir via Submission in the third round

Silva over Carwin by TKO 2nd

Rogers over Nog by KO 1st

    Nelson over Kharitonov via SD

Arlovski over Schaub via TKO 2nd

7 wins for Strikeforce, 1 for the UFC and I'm not even sure the UFC would win any.

Fedor wins by submisssion, probably second round after the first is spent mainly on the feet and Cain realising he has no chance there. Attempts to play the game on the ground using his infamously aggressive style fall falt as he GnP's straight into an Armbar.

Overeem wins, TKO in the first, puts JDs up on the cage and uses his roidy strength to knee the fuck out of him until he goes down.

Barnett sub in the first. Obviously.

Werdum/Mir too close to call. Depends who gets inthe best position for a sub first. my head says werdum, Mir will typically be overconfident in his striking and end up in a weak position, which Werdum will exploit as only he can.

Carwin TKO 1st, like the Mir fight.

Rogers by KO in the 1st. Nog will look the shadow of the fighter he used to be. Rogers glances him and sends him to the floor. Winner by brutal GnP.

Nelson UD in a fucking boring fight. Belly smothering all round.

Schaub to sub Arlovski in the second after losing a thightly fought striking contest in the first.

Just realised I only called 2 fights for the UFc guys, which suprises me. Largely due to style matchups I think.

With the BBC 606 picks were at...

    Carwin 9 : Bigfoot 3
    Arlovski 9 : Schaub 3
    Overeem 8 : JDS 4
    Werdum 8 : Mir 4
    Sergei: 8 : Nelson 3
    Barnett 6 : Lesnar 6
    Fedor 7 : Cain 5
    Rogers 5 : Nog 6

Seriously im shocked everyone has picked Carwin, no other results supprise me, I actually was going to change to Bigfoot given that if carwin doesnt KO him in the 1st Bigfoot would probabally win, taller, longer reach, better striker, BJJ BB....

But Im not letting anyone change their picks including myself.

Any more armbar members to place your votes?

No bother mate, my Girl isnt staying tonight so when I get my Kid in bed about 9pm Ill do the results and a write up on all the rights so plenty of time....

Sergei Kharitonov was once though to be the man to beat Fedor, a Fellow Russian Sambo fighter with a great amature boxing record, narrowly missing the olympics team.

Sergei won his last fight in the K-1 KOing his opponent in the 1st, His is 16-4-0 in MMA and at one time about top 5 ranked.

Career wins are Werdum, Overeem (TKO), Schilt (TKO), Pedro Rizzo (TKO)

His losses are to Overeem, Aleks, Big Nog and Monson in what is considered a huge upset and probabally Monsons biggest career win IMO....

Watch some youtube footage it will give you an Idea, He would batter Roy on the feet, thats a given and I think his 6"3 250lbs frame and Sambo background would neutralise Roys groundgame thats why I picked him.... but Its not a given by any means considering he lost to Monson who IMO is on Nelsons level.

Silva has a far better chin than anyone Carwin has faced before, and I don't think Carwin's chin is fantastic. Rushing at someone like Silva could get Carwin in trouble and Silva's superior reach and boxing would mean Carwin would have to go for the takedown. We saw what happened against Brock once he got him down and couldn't finish. I think Silva would win a clear UD or possible stop Carwin late in the 2nd or in the 3rd.

I think it's close to hilarious that anyone thinks Lesnar would beat Barnett.

Havnt tallied them up but I think that Cain is 1 ahead of Fedor now with the 606 votes, and Fuck it im changing Bigfoot to beat Carwin... my thread im breaking the rules Laughing

agree with that Anfield, Bigfoot would box the head of Carwin, if Gonzaga dropped him I think Bigfoot would and I think he would finish....

Bigfoot UD I reckon. No one else is changing!
