So, what about ya's? It's been a few months, and no, I haven't been in prison, just otherwise pre occuppied lol!!!

Was Reading on another forum (cough cough Sherdog cough) and there was a piece about Miguel Cotto saying he'd never rule out a move to MMA. Now I know sherdog and I know they somewhat exaggerate shit.

But can you imagine? Cotto at lightweight? A few yrs of wrestling and BJJ behind him? He would be unbelievable. He's still young enough to make it IMHO and I reckon he would make a huge impact!

Plus think of the fan base he has.

Ps, there is a YouTube vid of him taking down Pellegrino
pps, Bas Rutten had some serious liver strikes but Cottos would put your liver into your throat
    ppps, welcome back me!

    Welcome back Kaldog,

I can't see Cotto competing in MMA for a good few years, if he does. He's still a major draw in boxing and can earn more money in the sport. He's a talented boxer but hasn't quite looked the same since Maragarito plastered him.

    Welcome back Cool

I dont think he will make the transition to MMA, but your right he is still young enough and with a few years training he could be a force.

His main weapon will always be his striking, so you dont have to turn him into Aoki on the ground, with good takedown defense and some training on wrestling he would do well no doubt.

Firstly, he's no Toney and if you look at the Crocop of hold, he had world class striking and take down defence. Cotto even talking about starting in MMA is more relevent than Toney competing.

Secondly, Anfield is having surgery because I armbarred him and broke it in at least 13 places

Welcome back mate! Isnt Anfield getting his hip fixed?

Cotto would be a killer in MMA, I he has a bit of experience in Grappling and is far better than any current boxer in MMA... But money talks, Cotto is earning 20x what any figher in MMA is.

Even UFC wont put that sort of money up... I think for now the Boxers we will see in MMA will be guys whos career are winding down,

Cotto and Haye are two I hope to see in MMA Then Again Mayorga didnt give much of a worse performance against Mosley.... im supprised there isnt more buzz from boxing fans around him. Age I guess!
