Vera's face is still smashed Smile , Davis just fought at 112 i dont think he will take and with UFC new policy of protecting future stars he probably wont be asked anyway.
Sosinski and Bonnar is still on i think.

I say just put Thiago in against Nog at 114 if hes ready. If not get Randy to fight Nog and give him a title shot if he wins. seems fair?

Cheers for all the updates recently lads, thats the calendar totally up to date, a few Belator updates, Also removed Roy Nelson vs Kongo, Apparently Kongo is injured, Nelson hinted at a possible fight with Mir??? Maby he was joking.

Nate vs Palhares is a great fight they are 2 of my favorite Mw's out there, its a win win, Ill be happy to see either man winning, though I have to say I can see Palhares pulling off the upset here after watching Sonnen controll Nate like that.

Chesty is Soko vs Pee Wee part of the Tournament or a sperate fight?

Don king could stop Mayorga fighting for SHINE

Don King Production apparently has promotional rights to former boxer turned MMA fighter Ricardo Mayorga, who is scheduled to make his MMA debut on May 15th, but it looks like King will try and hamper that:

"Don King Productions has a valid promotional contract granting the right of exclusive representation of Ricardo Mayorga and has advised Shine Fight Promotions accordingly."

"Shine Fight Promotions’ conduct constitutes tortious interference with Don King Productions’ agreement with Ricardo Mayorga, and Don King Productions has requested they immediately cease and desist promoting Ricardo Mayorga at one of their events to avoid the need for legal action in this matter."

Don King is talking out his Arse... I guarentee he doesnt stop this fight, he is justs flapping his gums as they say! Laughing Just trying to make a little noise and get noticed because he isnt a big part of boxing these days, he is just talking shit, he cant and wont stop this.

I very very much doubt Mayorgas contract says he cant do other sports etc.. I'd bet its exclusive to boxing, What does Mayorga need Kings permission to wipe his ass now! Laughing

Everyone knows king is an arse and is one of the biggest stains on boxing but unfortunately he has the clout and power to be a big problem for Mayorga and Shine even if there is nothing in it.

Didn't Mayorga manage to leave King last year though?
I know they went to court over something but I don't know(or can't remember drunken )what ever happened but i was under the impression that Mayorga was no longer a King fighter

He might be able to make them postpone this fight untill a decision has been made,I mean if he does have a case in anyway,Mayorga and shine would be wide open to having to compensate King if they fight first.

I'm hoping it's bullshit and the fight happens,(I've been really looking forward to seeing this,I think this is the best boxer vs MMA fighter to ever be matched up so far)and Don King goes bankrupt and has fuck all to do with any form of contact sport ever again.cheers

the further MMA keeps the likes of Don King away from the sport the better.

One of us called Munoz-Okami a few hours ago Cool

I guess this means Belfort fights winner of Cote/Belcher or Bisping/Miller.

Possibilty of fighting Maia also, but i dont think they will give Maia such a hard fight after coming from loss.

"The Heat" Karo Parysian in talks with Strikeforce for their June 16th event (L.A.)

    http://mmafrenzy.com/14342/karo-parisyan-in-talks-with-strikeforce-could-debut-at-june-16-event/

EDIT: just noticed you havent got Noons opponent for that card, according to Inside MMA it'll be Krazy Horse.

EDIT #2: Didnt Noons say something about not being able to make 155? Karo/Noons is possible i guess, especially with KH on Shine car.

Hope Noons goes to 170, him vs Karo would be great and the winner a Legit threat to Diaz who is seriously running out of options...

Cant wait for Cote vs Belcher either, I think it could be fight of the night. I think Cote wins.

You know what sucks about Belcher vs Coté?

Both of them are two of my favourite fighters Evil or Very Mad

Im edging towards Coté as well but Belcher is a tough guy. What worries me about Coté is that he is coming off a LONG layoff. Belcher has good striking, a good chin, very big, excellent conditioning and a solid ground game. Belcher is a tough fight.

Cote's chin is cast Iron though, I think Belcher is a better striker and will look very good in the early stages of the fight but I think Cote will weather the storm and pull off the win. Whoever wins this really establishes themseves as a contender.

185lbs devision has really become and interesting devision recently!! Lets hope we see Belcher try a superman off the cage again!

Coté probably has a harder chin than Fujita's head Laughing so there is little worry of Belcher Koing him. But, Belcher has excellent leg kicks, and with Coté leg problems, that could effect him. I just hope Coté doesn't gas too quickly because he is the better striker and should be able to win, but Belcher is a tough guy.
