god I hate Sherdog sometimes

It feels like it's going through another bad patch of retarded threads, british fighter bashing and overall negativity. I know it can generally be like that anyway, but as I said, this is a particularly bad patch. Outside of the main 2 forums it's not too bad, but still.

Think I'm going to chill here for a bit.

Never posted on Sherdog, I must have got into MMA after it became shit, because the first thing I was being told everywhere was to avoid Sherdog.

I rest my case with this recent post:

Yes, Coleman was finished twice by Fedor. The first time was somewhat impressive since Coleman was still a force. Second time he had already begun to slide and lucked out when Shogun broke his arm.

Coleman's never been more then a wrestler with G'n'P though that hasn't shown a modicum of sub defense.

Doesn't matter. Coleman is still a legend. A champion of the UFC and of Pride. Not many people can say that.

Yeah wining a GP is easily as important as a Title, Shoguns GP win was better than holding the title as well I reckon....

I miss GP's, Tournaments were really cool to watch, I hope this Pride show comes about, these was more talk about that state in Canada hosting it... They are doing a Pride rules show later this year! (and are getting a lot of critism for doing it)

I have to say that the second Fedor vs Coleman fight was one of the worst beatings ive seen in a MMA fight. Coleman is a legend, he had his rough patches but he is still a legend, HOF in and out of the UFC.

Unfortuneatley when someone like Coleman fights Fedor, he will always lose and lose badly. Coleman might be the stronger man, the bigger man, possibly even the more athletic man but his skills are just not well rounded enough to deal with a guy like Fedor. Kind of what im expecting when Mo fights Mousasi.

I actually think that Arona did defeat Fedor, no shame in that Arona is an outstanding grappler and Fedor was very young and inexperienced at the time but I think he got pretty lucky with the decision. If they fought again, 9 times out of 10 Fedor mauls him pretty bad but he lost that fight.

IMO Shoguns GP win was one of the most impressive Title/tourtument wins ever, certainly the most impressive GP win and probably better than most title wins as well. 4 top, top class fighter all beaten, this MADE Shogun.

Would you not consider Nog and Cro Cop to be in the ledgends of MMA cat? Hes done over two other Former UFC champs too?

Fedor Vs Overeem will be the fight he get ledgendary status... not that he isn't one already!!!

Even some of the heavies eg. Mir and Cain have gone on record saying he is no.1 fighter in the world. But they both have said they think they can beat him if either ever fought him.....
