On and I dont think it will happen in 2010 but if it does GSP will batter Anderson Silva and look good doing it! But I dont think it will go ahead in 2010, I do think GSP will finally be recognised as best UFC fighrer.

Some very interesting predictions from you all there, please keep them coming.

I'm intrigued to see others here, predicting UFC to strenghten their LW division, i think they have to, even if BJ moves up to WW full time. Alvarez and Gomi are obvious choices. I'm not sure on Aoki fighting BJ or even joining UFC this year, i think him and Strikeforce is a done deal.

Also with regards to retirements, i think Chuck will retire this year regardless of his result with Tito. Tito i think will still be in UFC in 2011. Randy still has 5 fights in his contract and he is still very competitive. (Vera is a tough LHW and he beat him). I think Coleman will retire.


As far as other signings, im hopefull on Mousasi joining UFC when his contract expires. Bret Rogers probably will join UFC in the future if he gets 1 or 2 more wins under his belt.


And i would like to add Bader and Duffee cracking the top 10 in their divisions respectively.

I might have a crack at this....

Rua will beat Machida in another contentious decision, leading to Shogun-Machida 3, which ends up being the best fight of the year, with a clear winner.

BJ Penn to remain dominant and put the UFC under pressure to find him some competition at 155lb or he will leave or fuck around fighting at higher weight classes.

Brock Lesnar will not be UFC Heavyweight champ by the end of the year.

Fedor vs Overeem will not happen.

GSP to remain UFC champ but won't fight Anderson Silva.

Anderson Silva to lose a fight this year, if not to Vitor, then to Nate Marquandt in the next defence.

A consortium of Arab businessmen, after seeing the financial success of the UFC and being keen fight fans, set up their own promotion in Abu Dhabi, luring all the big names in with very lucrative contracts. All the major names and the top 10 fighters in all weight divisions sign up, except Fedor . M-1 again insist on co-promotion which leads the Arabs to tell them to fuck off.

Strikeforce will continue to grow as an organisation and becomes a true rival to the UFC in terms of the quality of the fighters and the fights they put on.
