I think Filho is supposed to be fucked up again, I think he is depressed or hooked on painkillers or something, he was suppose to look in bad shape for this fight... Called it right though 1st round sub!

I think I predicted Ninja to win KO in the 1st.. Glad he picked up another stoppage Victory. Sad thing is I head he signed a contract with Shine fights!! Thats bad news because im sure Strikeforce hell even UFC would have gave him a chance after those back to back wins.

Probabally because Ninja should be fighting at 185lbs! Gald Filho got the finish, I think that makes him top 10 again

I'm delighted Ninja has signed with Shine fights to be honest. I really hope they sign a couple of other big names and can slowly make themselves a good promotion. MMA needs more good promotions so that the fighters will start having more options and the fans will get to see more action.

I agree with Anfield more MMA companies mean better competition and the sport can grow faster. Shine fights is a good company for good fighters who aren't quite ready for the big leagues yet. When they are they can move on, for example Antwain Britt (talented guy from TUF 8, had to leave because of injury) fought former UFC fighter Mendes, KOed him in 8 seconds and got a four fight contract with Strikeforce.

Ninja is a good edition because he is a recognizable name and a veteren so he adds name value. Plus he has the oppurtunity to hold a belt in this company, if he fight at MW could you imagine him beating guys like Silva, Shields, Belfort, Hendo, Nate ect in the UFC and SF?

Ricardo Mayorga (boxing fans should know him) is apparantley taking Din Thomas in there next card, thats a pretty good fight for a small time promotion.
