nope.

i find it a bit odd aswell.

i saw a gif of the ending which was kinda like Baroni/Menne but slower, but i think if i saw it on tv i would have been uncomfortable.

and womens mma is just a bit of a joke really, 3 minute rounds are really stupid for mma, and they are allowed to wear vests when the men are not?!? whats all that about?

i say equality for the sexes!

Womens MMA can be great, you just have to watch the actual best fighters.

i guess i just dont see women as legit fighters, more like a sideshow, and its weird seeing women hit in the face.

but more importantly, why was she being stretchered off by members of the fire department?

I cant stand women in MMA much the same as women in boxing it just aint right for me.

Megumi Fujii - 18-0

Next fight against Windy Tomomi tomorrow.

There are a lot of high quality women fighters in Japan.

Another is Yuka Tsuji - 22-1.

A fight between those two is the biggest fight in women's MMA. I hope Strikeforce looks to put that fight together somehow, it has so far failed to materialise.

Miku Matsumoto (23-4) deserves a mention too.

I'd expect that we will see them in the Strikeforce cage soon enough. Or maybe they'll send Carano and Cyborg to Japan.

Are they? Didn't think they were that small! Time for Strikeforce to have multiple weight classes in the womens division so. They should have them anyway. Cyborg and Carano are different weight classes.

I don't know if they need to introduce regular womens bouts across multiple weight classes just yet, just put on the very top tier fights that can be made, and Tsuji-Fujii would definitely fit that bill.

Cyborg vs Carano, in spite of how it was billed as being the best of the best, was not a good showcase for the women's sport. I mean Cyborg ended up failing two takedown attempts and pulling Carano into mount!
