Just read that Diaz is appealing his suspension. He is supposed to be back in Feburary but I hope he gets back earlier. I dont know if he will have any luck with the appeal, Ive no Idea of how these things work but it seemed reasonable that he would have been allowed to smoke had he shown them his medical card but didnt bother.
He messed up not showing them the card but 12 months seems lengthy, he got 6 months last time and although he is a repeat ofender at least he was doing it legaly with a medical licence.
He will want a big name fight and Id assume it will be GSP vs Condit looser. The winner of Kampmann vs Hendricks has to fight for the title next id say.
