here is the article guys, what do you think?

    http://www.mmamania.com/2012/3/13/2868608/jose-aldo-vs-anthony-pettis-frankie-edgar-ben-henderson-ufc-mma

I think Pettis is a bit pissed with the UFC, and doesn't want to wait around at LW. He could realistically make 145 without TOO much difficulty (or any more than Aldo). If he does, should he get an immediate title shot? How do you see a fight with Aldo going? I think it's a really interesting match-p, but i'd have to pick Aldo, he's too lethal i think.

Great fight, makes perfect sence. Pettis is the clear cut, without a shaddow of doubt number 1 contender at 155lbs, we all know he is the number 1 guy in line despite UFC giving Edgar the shot he never earned Couture style.

Pettis has every right to be mad. He gave up a title shot (Which IMO was a fight he would have won) to take 1 more fight. He then earned another shot to have Edgar talk his way into one over him.

Pettis should be able to pick another title to have a shot at, im supprised it is 145, He is 3" taller than Aldo with 2" more reach... Aldo has trouble with the cut aparently.

Pettis is the bigger man id say but Aldo is probabally a hair better in all aspects on MMA. Close fight, I wouldnt rule out a Pettis win because to me Aldo hasnt looked himself recently but for me Aldo is probabally a little better at Striking, Wrestling and BJJ...

This one will be down to how the cut affects Pettis and the form Aldo is in because Hominic form Aldo is going to loose.

While we're on the subject of people dropping down, Maia is dropping down to 170.

Love the idea of Pettis vs Aldo. Aldo by knockout though.

I heard Cesar Gracie said Melendez wants either PEttis or Penn.

Pettis vs Aldo has the potential to be one of the all time great fights. The two most talented guys in MMA right now.

Pettis should rightly be pissed about the 155 situation. Edgar gets an undeserved title shot, again, and Pettis is forced to wait. To make matters worse, Dana seemed to indicate that Miller-Diaz was for a shot at the title which mean Pettis having to wait about a year for a shot.

That would be some fight and makes sense especially with Hioki wanting another fight and Poirier vs Jung in May this would be a great fight to make in the summer.

From Pettis' twitter: "I'm not dropping to 145 to fight aldo! 155 is my home and I'll get that belt soon!!!"

Aldo should come fight him at 155 just to test the waters, If Petis is considered behind Diaz/Miller winner and Edgar Id love Aldo to come up and fight him. Im gutted not to be seeing this, Said to my mate today it would be the fight im most looking forward to this year along with Overeem vs Junior

Who for Pettis next? Avenge the Guida loss?

True, good suggestion. Would be a step down though for Pettis? Not much to gain from a win, but a lot more to lose from a loss.

Think Sherk would put up a good fight with Pettis, he's gotta be on something like TRT because for his age and the amount of fights he's never really been totally dominated, save from the BJ fight.

Aldo vs Pettis I think would be similar to Aldo- Florian, Aldo js just that damn good.

He was dominated a few times at 170 but at 155 it's only BJ.

Sherk's not top 15 right now, he should fight someone a lot lower than Pettis. If he wants a big fight, then give him Maynard.

Good call with Maynard. I still think Maynard is top 3. I think he beats everybody in the division apart from Bendo and Edgar and he has a decent chance at them on a given night.
