Why does Dana love him? He's getting paid not like a legitimate contender (which he's not) but like a champion.

I think Zuffa are under the misconception that Bisping still actually contributes to the popularity of the UFC in the UK.
He may have done so years ago. But I don't think he adds value in that sense anymore.

It's just ridiculous. Hendo got nowhere near that for the Shogun fight (and neither did Shogun), It's almost Chuck Liddell money.
Just watch Dana around Bisping, they seem really close. That fee is unjustified ad has annoyed me.

Marketing money is what it is - The Cunt has turned himself into the ultimate "heel" by acting more nobbish than usual and people tune in to see him get KTFO. It sells cards.

That's really mind blowing. Most overpaid man in the sport by far.

Still stunned by the amount I understand Bisping as a commodity is great business but the amounts seems way excessive especially considering legit draws like Penn, Tito, Rampage don't get anywhere near this amount.

yeah read your debate with someone ben cudnt remember where i read it though
tought to call i think
if it hits the floor its pretty much a no brainer im thinking maia will be getting the sub that been said hes not had a sub victory in a while, and i think bispings jits is slightly better than most give him credit for,
maia stand up as come on leaps and bounds he looked shocking in his first few mma fights but certainly his last few fights hes improved massivley especialy against munoz
that been said id still prob give bisping the advantage even with with his clear lack of power,
im torn ill prob go bisping ud but wudnt be suprised
they are definatley protecting bisping i know that sound strange when hes getting sum 1 of maia calibre but imagine if he got belfort or stann then more than likley he wud get ko.d and no chance of a title fight which i think they want to give him
who you got ben

I posted a few TD stats on both guys, I think Maia has this one in the bag. He trains with Wanderlei which can only help when fighting Bisping.
The problem with Bispings Feather fists is against an Elite Grappler he doesnt have anything to deter them from bum rushing him and trying to drap him to the floor. Against a big puncher Maia might have to fight his way in but when all he has to worry about is a couple of Bisping slaps I reckon he closes him down and trips him.
Maia needs to bulk up a bit, Bisping will be the bigger man but as I said in the other thread if you can beat Gonzaga in a grappling match Bispings slight size and power awvantage wont mean anything.
Bisping to spend a round Jab and Jogging and get taken down and subbed in the 2nd I think.

Agree with Ging Bisping will pull crowds purely on his attitude! I'll back Bisping to beat Maia, don't think maia will get him to the mat.
