Bisping is a dick!!

Hey guys.

Dont post as often as i'd like on here but I do always have a browse over 'the armbar' and one thing i have noticed is that almost everyone on here dislikes Bisping.

Although at times i've found his actions childish and that of a dick I have sort of turned a blind eye to this and let it go mainly because he's 1 of the top british fighters.

However watching him on this seasons TUF i really can't stand the guy now, what an absolute dick! To start with I liked the banter between him and Miller and got into the pranks and silly remarks. But when he was taunting a guy who'd just fought his ass off and lost and took the piss whenever his team got a win I lost all respect, sure I get the whole idea that they need the coaches this year to be a bit controversial after Lesnar and JDS but he just seems totally classless. We all dislike bad losers but Bisping is a terrible winner, I couldn't believe his speach when he finally got to make a fight announcement.

Can't remember off the top of my head, but has he missed 2 way inns already this year and training sessions?

So this season opened my eyes to Bisping, when did all you start disliking him or cheering on whoever he fights?

I'm watching this season's TUF on sky so if you're ahead please no spoliers

I'm not his biggest fan however I feel he gets a lot of unfair criticism too and feel that if he wasn't British he'd have more British love because of his attitude.

I think people jump on the dislike Bisping bandwagon cos it seems to be the norm. I actually find his exchanges with Miller and his team funny, yeah he was out of order on some occassions but it's not as if Miller wasn't goading him into it. Plus the way they edit the show they want the audience to love/hate a fighter otherwise we're just gonna have another irrelevant season of TUF.

There's plenty of more controversial fighters in the UFC but don't get any hatred to the extent that Bisping does. You can't tell me the Diaz brothers haven't done worse or aren't as cocky, sure they can back it up I know but there's cockiness throughout the sport. Think of Sonnens outbursts.

To think that Bisping is the highest ranked UK fighter in any division he doesn't get any love whatsoever. From what I have seen he's not really done anything wrong to really get under my skin, I forgot about spit gate for a second then. That was wrong but up until then I thoughT Jorge Rivera was a complete and utter prick in his camps build up to the fight. He came across pathetic in the YouTube vids aimed at Bisping.

Superman I always used to think it was people jumping on the Bisping bandwagon aswel, however he really hasn't won any fans this year. Dont get me wrong he probably doesn't give a toss and likes playing the bad guy but his cockiness is cringe worthy, he should take a minute and think before he speaks. Mayhem has been goading him but he's shown a certain amount of respect towards Bispings team, can't say the same for Bisping.

I was over the moon when he beat Rivera, like you I tohught his videos done nothing but make himself look like a prick. And the spitting incident was heat of the moment, even if it was the act of a vile human.

The really strange thing is when they fight I will probably be cheering him on

After watching all the episodes from the star of this season so far (first season since 8 for me although I have seen scattered episodes of seasons never been a huge fan of TUF) I have to say Bisping hasn't exactly painted himself as a likeable man.

He comes across as a complete dick and smug as fuck and not turning up for weigh in's or Fight announcements is pretty shitty, The more I'm seeing of this season the more I hope Miller strangles Bisping to sleep.

Oh and It doesn't help he has the most padded record in MMA.

I have pretty much been Anti-Bitchping since I first saw him. His attitude when he was competing on TUF left a lot to be desired, and then Dana seemed to have the opinion that all Brits would love him, simply because he's British.

TBH, I couldn't care where a fighter is from, or if he decides to create some alter ego, just as long as he can back that up with performances. That said, his taunts towards Hamill after there fight (which Hamill won IMO), and then against Rivera and his corner were shocking. He's a 2nd rate fighter that thinks he's way better than he is. Fuck me, the only time he's ever fought anyone of note, he's struggled - Wandy, Hendo, Rashad. His last few performances have been better than I have come to expect from him, but still. I expect Mayhem to snap a limb, and then hopefully he can get handed to the likes of Sonnen.

Good points about his record, if he can beat Miller that will be his best win by far. I honestly give him a chance in this fight, he has shown that he can remain calm when put on his back and you got to think Miller will get this fight to the floor sonner or later.

If Silva beats Sonnen then a title fight for Bisping may be something the ufc look at doing.

Yeah the Hamill & Rivera escapades left a sour taste in mouth too especially the Hamill fight he got out struck and out wrestled and........Well completely dominated If I'm honest and the Rivera thing was disgusting the knee & spit were pre meditated can not believe he still denies this.

If he does beat Miller (hope not) I really do hope he gets "rewarded" with a Title fight whether it be Silva or Sonnen, Bisping will get completely embarrassed.

After Miller breaks his arm he won't be getting any sort of fight for a while.

I met and trained with Michael Bisping many years ago before he won TUF and thought he was a nice guy. I met him and trained with him again after he won TUF and he had become a complete dickhead.

I've been saying it for years, Michael Bisping is hands down the biggest dickhead and least likeable guy in the UFC. He literally is the most unpopular fight in the company amongst the other fighters.

He showed what a prick he was the last time he coached TUF, that ended with him getting knocked clean the fuck out by Hendo.

He's showing it again this time around and here's hoping Miller breaks him fucking arm when they fight.

He's only coaching this season because they wanted to feed him to Sonnen, the UFC are done with thinking highly of Bisping. He'll need at least a couple more wins before he gets close to a title shot. He's never beaten a top ten fighter in his entire career and they three he's fought all beat him.

Bisbing is a ankle bighter no doubt, Hopefully Mayhem takes his damn arm off and sends him packing.

There a good list of reasons to not like the guy but I also think he is hugely over rated. He is talked about as the top UK figther, and was talked about as the top UK fighter even when Hardy was much higher ranked and got a title shot.

Seriously his wins are who exactly to warrent the praise and status he gets?

He lost head to head with Wandy, Evans and Hendo, Its clear he cant hang with top level guys.

3 fight spree is Dan Miller, Akiyama, Rivera... Stick him in with Okami, Belfort, Maia, Munoz, Rockhold, Jacare, Kennedy, Stann, Belcher, Palhares... there is a list of Mw's who would tear him apart and I dont see Mayhem having trouble doing so.

Bisping wont be able to pitter patter on the back foot against someone Mayhems quality. He might not have the wins but he gave Shields and JAcare seriously close fights, Bisping isnt on their level. Cant wait to see him Tapping come TUF Finale.

Mayhem is actually well worth watching. He's an excellent coach and hilarious. Plus he brought Mr. Chute Boxe in as a special guest trainer.

I have pretty much always enjoyed TUF (except for the terrible HWs show), but there does seem to be a trend of TUF having one decent coach - Rashad, JDS, Hendo, Mayhem and one dick Bitchping, Lesnar, Kos.

Whilst Mayhem CAN come across as a dick, there is no doubt that the guy has huge talent. Bitchping just strikes me as someone with very limited people skills, I sincerely hope that it's all just an act, having never met the guy, I don't know. I hope that he's just trying to play the pantomime villain, but I would much prefer it if he had a modicum of skill to back it up.

Did anybody see the coaches challenge? They played Air Hockey. Bisping one and jumped on the table, when he jumped off he fell right on his arse. Made him look like a right fanny but it gave me a chuckle
