Anderson Silva stripped of UFC Title!!!

Not really, but he's being forced to fight Sonnen so he's going to be losing his belt. More of less the same thing.

Anderson to put on a clinic then,taking Chael out with in 3 rds,cementing his place as the greatest P4P fighter of all time.

So glad the UFC are making this fight,and not giving it to Munoz yet,it's Andersons toughest challenge out there at MW,it's the fight everyone wants to see and I can't wait for it.

I'm just praying no injuries fuck this up.

Apart from this weekends HW battle this is the next fight I'm most looking forward to.

Cant wait for this rematch, Sonnen has seemed to have gained a lot of fans, I wonder who most people on here are supporting.

Ive always said I thought he was winning the rematch the guy is hard to Knock out and fights hard so he is going to be hard to decision. Im pretty sure Anderson wont KO him, Sonnens only loss by TKO was when he retired at the end of the 2nd against Terry Martin because he couldnt fight on with a broken rib.

Anderson will have to dish out enough to put Sonnen away, completley lights out like no one has done to stop himself getting taken down.

People say his Sub defence is crap because of all his losses but the guys have subbed him recently are seriously top level BJJ guys, he looks to have the technique for sub escapes down well. Silva via Sub has to be his most realistic chance of winning.

Only thing is Sonnen has only 1 way of winning and thats to be able to punch him from pilar to post and dominate him... like he did before but this time for an extra minute or so. It would be crazy to see him do that twice to Anderson but I cant see him winning any other way than UD.

If he beats Anderson I wonder where people will rate him p4p. And I wonder who would be the 1st title challenger? Id imagine a Rubbermatch. Sonnen might have to beat Anderson for 50 mins straight to keep the belt!

Pins you see him KOing Sonnen? Anderson wont stop Sonnens Takedown, If Sonnen gets in a firefight and isnt coming out on top he can shoot for a TD, Like Barnett vs Sergei. He hasnt terrible boxing so he gets into range and trades, if he isnt doing well or gets tagged the TD is there at Boxing range.

Chael's got the skills and the right game to beat Anderson,no doubt,but I think Anderson will have learned a big lesson from their first fight and will be better prepared and come out a completely different fighter in their next battle.

I'm not going to use that rib injury as an excuse for the first fight,as we don't know how much truth there was to that,it's easy to say you fought injured when you didn't look good and was basically very lucky to pull out the win.

Chael took control of their first fight,not by getting the early takedown but by actually landing the cleaner punches early in the fight,then he was able to get the easier takedowns as Anderson didn't know if the punch or the shoot was coming,I don't think he will be able to repeat that as well as he did in the first fight.

Chael's best way to win this one is to basically wrestle fuck Anderson for 5 rds,which he is well capable of doing,while Anderson IMO has so many ways to win the fight.If Anderson can stay off his back and find his rhythm and distance,well we all know what he can do when his shoulders drop and his confidence becomes visible to everyone,he finishes people,usually in impressive style.

Chael does have an impressive record of not being stopped,but then what strikers who can hit like Silva has he ever fought before?
Anderson is more than capable of knocking Chael out IMO.

Chael's takedowns aren't Anderson's biggest problem, his biggest problem is that he doesn't fight well when he's moving forward. Chael took the fight too him which threw Anderson off his game, allowed Sonnen to outbox him and get easy takedown after easy takedown.

Sonnen by sub in this one for me.

Im hearing this fight is scheduled for Fox 2 show in January, so maybe UFC will plan something on awards night between them which is on Fuel tv. Hope so anyway.



Oh and Sonnen to win via unfinshed business. Caesar Gracie team has gotten his grappling well up to par. There are blackbelts out there who could also benefit greatly from going there for a few months.

sonnen had his chance that night and lost fully expect silva to re-arrange his face this time silva ko for me.

And I agree, the Gracie boys really have helped Chael.

I never watched those award shows so im not sure how its done. But still Sonnen with a mic = fireworks.
