fight for japan: ~ULTIMATE SUMO CHAMPIONSHIP ~ Amarec15

first there was the preliminary tournament:

notice the referee from K1 lol

Razor Ramon HG (hard-gay) vs Shinji Takehara (Former WBA Middleweight champion)

heres the PRIDE FC style opening for the main tournament(complete with PRIDE FC music)...they also got all the other sound effects form pride. I think the competitors are revealed as they are announced which explains the shock reactions from the crowd.

    3. Hayato "Mach" Sakurai : The former shooto middleweight champion
    4. Yoshinori Yamamoto : The former NPC tournament of Champions (Heavyweight)
    5. Daichi Hashimoto : New Japan Pro-Wrestling
    6. HIRO : The formar SUMO wrestler (Jyoni-dan)
    7. Semmy Schilt : K1 WGP 2005,6,7,9 Champion
    8. Bobby Ologun : Talent K-1 PREMIUM 2005,6 Dynamite (winner of preliminary tournament)

winner faces Akebono : The 64th YOKOZUNA

Laughing Brilliant! Schilt looks very lean stil, I think he was down to 280-290 recently? Wonder if he can make 265 and get back to UFC?

Mach winning the tournament would rock! cheers

here is the semi finals and final.

not such great fights as the quarters though
1.Semmy Schilt vs Daichi Hashimoto (who actually won his match against the body builder by a total fluke/rookie error on the other guys part)
2,Hayato "Mach" Sakurai vs Manabu Nakanishi (pro wrestler)

    final:

The winner goes on to face Akebono.

The referee should have reset that. They were out of synch at the tachi-ai.

    Schilt was robbed.

I don't know the details of Sumo rules but i wouldnt argue with Kakuda anyway Laughing

actually there is an idea...Football needs more hardman referees to players don't whine and moan about stuff.
