Ryan Bader speaking to BloodyElbow.com wrote:Tito (Ortiz) is probably not going to happen. In that interview they were asking who I thought I would fight and I said either Tito, (Rich) Franklin or (Stephan) Bonnar because those are the guys that are open. Those are the three guys who don’t have fights or that aren’t injured at this time. People blow it up like I called Tito out. I’d like to fight him but I don’t think he will."

Re: Darth Bader's next opponent
I think Franklin would be a good fight at this stage of his career, a crafty veteran who knows how to win and has been around for donkies, however if he wants a confidence builder, tossing the American Psycho around the cage for fifteen will be fun

I think Franklin too, although it's a tough fight for Franlkin who kind of finds himself out of the title picture, and a loss to Bader could mean retirement/gatekeeper status which would be a shame.

Don't reckon they would risk him going in with Franklin more than likely tito or bonnar shame for bonnar if it is him

Re: Darth Bader's next opponent
Franklin kept the Hamill fight on the feet and battered him, how does Hamill's wrestling compare to Bader's?

I say fight Gustafsson next.
Although i would rather see Gustaffson getting fed Tito at this stage of his career. As i dont see any other point to having Tito on the roster other than feedinh him to some of young prospects which hasnt happened yet although he was Hamill's biggest win.
It will probably be Forrest Griffin.

True enough, although i think in that fight Hamill gave Franklin too much respect, he saw him as a mentor.
Not sure how their pure wrestling credentials stack up, but both were easily man handled by JBJ.

Re: Darth Bader's next opponent
Griffin or Bonnar. For some reason I don't like the idea a Franklin matchup.
Maybe that's because Franklin will be too small compared to Bader, who is huge at 205. I'd rather he pick on someone his own size.

Re: Darth Bader's next opponent
Franlin all day long, Tito and Bonnar are far from ranked, neither is top 30 so I think its a stretch to put Bader in against such a lowly ranked guy.
Granted he needs rebuilding after loosing but Franklin and him is a fight that makes most sence as rankings wise they are close enough. The winner of that could mix it up with the winner of Nog vs Davis for example. Better to keep Bader relevant that fighting Tito who hasnt done much since beating Shammy!

Gustaffson is a great shout! I think it'll be Bonnar but Franklin would be a good fight for him rankings wise.
Bonnar is top 30 Ben. He's between 20-25.
