Paul daley
Scott coker has stated that if Paul Daley losses next month at bamma he will not be getting the next shot at the strikeforce welterweight title, I'm not too familiar with his opponent Yuya shiari ?

Re: Paul daley
I don't know too much about him either to be honest, seems to have a decent record, and has been active recently, on a 5 fight win streak. I'd imagine that Daley will have too much for him on the feet though.
Any insight into this guy Chesty??
(And welcome to the forum 2brutal! are you gonna join in our predictor challenge? It's about to start for the year)

Re: Paul daley
Welcome mate, good to have you on board
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yuya_Shirai
Shirai is a decent fighter, 20-8 record, and he's recently submitted English standout Che Mills. However he's easy pickings for Daley, who is a nightmare matchup for anyone who can't take him down to the mat, ie. Shirai

Re: Paul daley
it would be a huge upset if daley was to lose to any fighter in bamma.

Re: Paul daley
Daley isnt going to loose this, he is twice the size of Shirai and I think he can spark him in a round no problem. Daley is probabally the best 170lbs figher on the feet and he is big and powerfull enough to keep all but the best Grapplers off him.
I reckon we are going to see Woodley vs Noons at 170, thats a fight that IMO would make a legit contender... isnt Noons staying at 170?

Re: Paul daley
I can not see Daley losing even if he performs like he did against Masvidal Shirai's biggest win well most known is Che Mills and TBH he has never looked good against good opposition this is a gimme similar to Pudz beating Kawaguchi.

It's been announced that one-time UFC heavyweight champ Ricco Rodriguez will fight TUF 10 contestant James McSweeney on this card.

Re: Paul daley
Not a bad card.
Also Tom Watson has kissed and made up with BAMMA and is still the MW belt wearer.
Apparently it's going to be broadcast on the SyFy channel (?!) ...better than no TV I suppose. Just seems a bit odd. Like if ESPN showed us the Sharktopus.
