Agreed Fujii was robbed but when you leave it in the hands of the judges you leave yourself open to dodgy decisions.


I was more impressed with Shlemenko than i was with Lombard to be brutally honest, he gassed but props to him he still won clearly.

MMA judging is a joke.

Worst Bellator season yet

I couldn't believe that Fujii turned this into a 5 rd kickboxing match,that's frausto's game,she's a bigger,harder hitting striker that has hardly any ground game,and Fujii,has only just recently got her 1st ever stoppage by strikes but has one of the best ground games in womens MMA,decides for some strange reason,it would be a great Idea to keep this fight standing

This IMO,should of been a reasonably easy win for Fujii,if she had just played to her strengths from the get go,it was a stupid gameplan and it cost her the title and her undeafeted run.

It was a poor gameplan, but Frausto's so much bigger. I dont think the takedown would have come easily. Frausto only just recently got her 1st ever stoppage by strikes too.

She won the fight anyway 49-46 and outboxed the striker, just like Aguilar did.

I thought it was a really close fight personally,I had Fujii winning it but I didn't think it was a robbery when frausto took it,overall Fujii landed more shots,especially in rds 2 and 4,but rd for rd scoring,it was close fight.

I scored the fight 48-47 to Fujii.

I didn't agree with the way Jimmy Smith was calling it or scoring it during the fight though,I thought he was being as bad as Rogan can be when a fighter he really likes is fighting.

I thought the first was a close rd,Fujii landed the more shots but Frausto also landed her fair share and had Fujii in trouble and came closest to stopping the fight with that big kick and flurry near the end.

I scored that rd to Fujii,but I can see how frausto could of won it.

I'm still baffled that Fujii didn't try and get this to the ground from the off,yes Frausto might be hard to get down,but once she's down,she's a fish out of water,especially against a girl of Fujii's skills,Fraustos a kickboxer.
Fujii only tried to take her down once I think,if she was constantly working for it from the off,instead of trying to stand and trade,I'm pretty sure she would of got her down eventually and then the fight would of swung hugely in Fujii's favour.
She has 18 subs to her name for good reason,she can hold her own striking with most,but her game is submissions and IMO,she should only use her striking to set things up.
