Who should Diaz fight next?

So after another little scuffle backstage between Diaz and Mayhem last night after the fights,who do you lot want to see Diaz fight next?

Coker came out with this statement

Diaz could meet either the winner of a Dec. 4 bout between Scott Smith and Paul Daley or perhaps Brazilian brawler Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos – he isn't opposed to having Diaz and Mayhem settle their score inside the Strikeforce cage either.

I wanted to see the mayhem fight before this one,so my vote is definitely for Mayhem.

In a perfect world I'd like to see

Fedor vs Overeem in the main event,with Diaz vs Mayhem as the co-main event

im going with daley as thats what id like to see.

Agree with everything here. Diaz-Mayhem is a must. Surely they can agree to 178lb as a catchweight.

And Fedor-Overeem will have to happen, I don't think it'll be Fedor's next fight though.

the others would be good fights, but those are the main 2.

Nobody wanting to see a third fight between Noons and Diaz then?

I want to see mayhem next,but i think I would like to see an end to the Diaz - noons trilogy,over a Daley fight to be honest.

I want to see Daley fight Diaz,but I think Daley,Smith,Cyborg and even Zaromskis should all fight it out first,before one of them becomes the no1 contender.

Since Zaromski already got beat by Cyborg,I think the winner of Smith v Daley should take on Cyborg and the winner of that should be the No1 contender.

So that leaves,while we wait for the NO1 contender spot to be sorted,my first choice and the one I want to see the most,Mayhem vs Diaz and if not I'd go for Diaz v Noons 3,to fight.

i do want to see a rubbermatch (i forgot about it )

Mayhem but he must fight Noons a third time. Aside from the fact I thought Noons won the fight, compare there wins. Diaz won a close fight that could have gone either way while Noons blasted and owned Diaz in a round.

Mayhem then Noons I think. Daley is fighting Smith and then as Payne said fight Cyborg.

Fuck a Noons rematch, Noons could go straight back to 155 and Mix it up with Thompson, JZ, Melendez maby Aoki as I hear he will fight in the US again... or if the Alvarez co-promotion comes off there are so maby great fights for noons at 155.

Daley is the fight I want to see because Daley is the highest ranked guy and at Diaz' own weight. Whitemare was called the next coming of Crocop going into the Diaz fight and Noons was suppose to have been a better Boxer but he shocked everyone in those fight. Id not fancy his chances against Daley on the feet so Id love to see how they would match up.

Mayhem should go after Cung Le. I know Le isnt top ranked but in fairness he has 1 loss that he more than avenged and Lesnar/Mir style. He has already beat Kennedy and Lawler so I think any win puts him into title contention at 185 again.

Hendo vs Mousasi (number 1 contenders)
Diaz vs Daley
Mayhem vs Cung Le (number 1 contenders)

Id love to see SF match these guys up.

Nick has been calling out GSP again! And saying he wants to fight at 3 weight classes. One of my favorite fighters.

Paul Daley will smash him.

admittedly Daley is a horrible matchup for Nick..but so was Noons

he said in the interview he is willing to fight at 185, but wasn't the reason for not fighting Mayhem because he wanted Mayhem to go to 170?

Diaz isnt ducking anyone he just diserves a shot at a bigger name than Miller. Dont get me wrong I know Mayhem is recognised by even casual fans in the states but he isnt a step up for Diaz.

Think about this Hendo is one of the highest ranked fighters in SF and so is Diaz, he would step up to 185 for a fight like Hendo and it would make for a better fight to watch because Hendo's power vs Nicks Chin against a 185er would make it a really interesting fight.

If Hendo beats Babalu does anyone see this? Diaz facing anoter legend on the slide. Could Diaz hurt Hendo on the feet vs Would Hendo land a brick of an overhand and turn Nicks lights out would make this the best Superfight SF could put on IMO.

Or would they give Diaz a shot against Jacare? Who is the number 1 contender at 185? Lindland vs Lawler winner? Cung Le? Mayhem? Nick is an athlete and for the pay I think he would be happy to stay active at 2 weights no problem.

Reallistically is there any chance of him going back to the UFC?

I would live to see him go up against the likes of GSP, Fitch, Dan Hardy or even Fraggle.
Also when he mentions fighting at 185 there is alot of good fights in the UFC for him, imagine Diaz against anderson, Nate or wandy!!!!

There are at least ten fights I would live to see Diaz take!!!
