Is Mark Coleman retired?

Anyone know? It would be a really shit way to end a career. Understandable at his age if he retires because there are only a handfull of athletes arcoss any physical sport still able to compete at that age.

But If not what way do you see him ending his career?

Personally I think he should go back to Heavyweight and maby see if it was the weight cut not helping. SF have no interest in him but there are guys out there like Monson who would fight him anywhere and make a credible heavyweight fight for smaller promotions. Maby someone like the Sylvia vs Rizzo winner?

Alternativly theres Japan. Maby SAKU is too old to compete with guys his size, but it seems like a fight we should have seen.... Or Minowaman might go for it? He beat Frye and another UFC champ im sure would be something he would love to go after, he could finally defend that Superhulk belt of his!


In Dream id love to see him against JLB maby? Oldschool Striker vs Grappler. I think he could see out his career with a few big paychecks in Japan.

But if he retires fair play.... evenyone cant be like the man even Couture wishes he was

Usually speak to him on Facebook when he's on chat. Ask about his next fight and if hes joining an org. He says hes currently looking but not in a hurry because hes loving spending time with his daughters. Real nice, down to earth guy.

Yea hes a really kind person actually, which you wouldn't expect after you watch his knees on Allan Goes and his post fight reaction but hes pretty cool. I have about 30 odd fighters on facebook but hes the only one that actually goes on chat and speaks to his fans. If only JDS and Machida got their asses on chat!

But yeah you're right there, he absolutely ragdolled Bonnar who i think is pretty underrated. Coleman- Ken Shammy would be great for old times sake.

So there you have it folks, he's still undecided Wish he'd make up his mind on what he's going to do, i hope he carries on fighting but in all honesty i see him retiring
