He's shown that he only cares about money, not winning things.
I did hear an interesting rumour that he may have only agreed to sign a deal so United could get more for him in the transfer market.

Ahhhhh you know what, i didn't think of that! Either he kicked up all this fuss so he got offered a more improved deal or he really wants to leave and United have made him sign the contract so they get more when they sell him, personally i think its the former.

Re: Football discussion
Lots of rumours flying around, another is that Mourinho has agreed to take over at OT after Sir Alex steps down so Rooney has chose to stay.

Re: Football discussion
That's not going to happen. Hilarious United fans trying to make out their club is not on a major decline. Mourinho doesn't want the United job. He might want to be offered the job, but he does not want the job.

Re: Football discussion
Don't read too much into that. They were the celebrations of a man who knew his team have just eliminated the biggest threat to them winning the Champions League, see also his celebrations after knocking Barca out last year.Michael_Bisping_Is_A_Cunt wrote:
On the celebrations after...
“You would have thought we (FC Porto) had won the World Cup. And then there was a knock on the door. It was Alex, with Gary Neville. As they came in, everybody fell silent, respectful. The party stopped. The party was over. And, as Gary Neville went round shaking hands with my players, Alex shook hands with me and said that, after the press conference, I was invited to come to his office for a drink. What a special person it was, I thought, who would do anything to win but, if he lost, still do that. At that moment I made a decision. It was that, if I ever came to England, I would follow this example."
If the Glazer's don't fuck United up too much I think he'd jump at the chance of becoming the next United manager. I know that's a big if just now.
As much as I dislike Liverpool I'm glad that they've managed to get rid of Hicks and Gillet. Good to see them losing money on the club as well .

Re: Football discussion
Mourinho, before he took the Chelsea job, said that he wanted the Liverpool one and that one of the reasons was his dislike of United.
And you don't give the finger to an entire stadium because you've beaten the team in a game of football.
Mourinho wants to be offered the United job so he can make a big thing of turning it down. Same reason he wanted to be offered the England job.

Re: Football discussion
Vettel deserved it, he's been the fastest guy all season and only ridiculous amount of bad luck prevented him from not rapping up the title a few races ago.
Would have been a tradgedy if Webber won it , he's been in the fastest car with the best reliabilty and still couldnt get the job done. He's not in Alonso, Vettel and Hamiltons league.
Alonso should have won the championship though, if Ferrari didnt make a complete balls of his strategy during the race, he would have finished 4th comfortably....

Re: Football discussion
Me too im a big Ferrari fan. I could not believe what they did yesterday. In what possible demented dream of theirs was pitting Alonso so he rejoins behind a cue of slower cars and behind 2 drivers (Petrov and Rosberg) who didnt have to pit again, a good idea in a race where he had to finish 4th??
I was absolutely livid yesterday, i called the mistake the minute i saw alonso rejoin the track from the pits.
I really hope Steffano or Luca Di Montezamalo resign after that. And im glad the Italins arent staying quiet about this.

nah they wont resign mate. im a ferrari fan to mate and knew he wouldnt get past the renault. they were thinking webber would be the biggest threat and tried to cover his pit stop but forgot they were not far enough ahead of the merc and renault, they basically gifted vettal the championship.

Re: Football discussion
Was delighted for Vettel. He should have won it last year but the car fucked him and he's outperformed everyone this year but been cursed with bad luck.
Wonder who Red Bull will have driving for them next year. You'd have to imagine Webber is gone and there's been rumours that Vettel will go to Mercedes.

Lots of things get confirmed in Formula 1. McLaren confirmed they were keeping Alonso, two weeks later he announced he was moving.
