"Lesnar, Liddell, Tito, Forrest, BJ, GSP, Anderson, Rampage."

You either didnt read my question or didnt undersatand it.
Forrest-Tito 2 did considerably less than 400,000 let alone 500,000. Anderson is a big draw i give you that but lets look at some of his numbers.....

    Cote- 300,000
    Hendo- 325,000
    Nate - 425,000

    Or Rampage

    Jardine- 350,000
    ................

"Couture's average figure is around the 375,000"

    Randys last fights:

    109- not released
    105- not apllicable
    102- 435,000
    91- 920,000
    74- 485,000
    68- 534,000
    57- 400,000

So please tell me how is average can be 375,000? When he has constantly done higher in his main events recently.

I missed this whole arguement... seems to have gotten a little off track! Laughing
    ------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyway Ill go for just the opposite of Moose.

Yvel is going to Fuck up Rothwell in the battle of "Guy who looks like a fighter vs Guy who is upset he doesnt look like a fighter"

Yvel can Bang, he lost to JDS but he wasnt KO'd, if you watch it again Yvel wasnt by any means out. Anyway Rothwell isnt JDS, Rothwell isnt even a decent fighter.

Rothwell will try to stand with Yvel who is much better technically, much faster, stronger, fitter... what else can you be good at? More rounded on the feet... He has every advantage you can have apart from a cool bandana. Rothwell is getting Mangled here.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------

Crocop is Fucked as well, Barry is a Hoost trained figher, a proper striker who is on the up. He looks faster and more powerfull than the Mirko who has shown up recently and he is younger and in better shape... dare I say it his Kicks might even be better!! I dont see how Crocop is going to win this one. Barry was chomping at the bit to get over to OZ and fight Crocop for a reason. This is a fight he should win and look good doing so, As as striker he is on a different level... Mirko better have improved a lit more since UFC 110 or have a hidden groundgame we dont know about
    ------------------------------------------------------------------

Well done Joe Silva!! cheers Great matchmaking, I wasnt too excited about Rothwell vs Crocop but these 2 fights are far more interesting.

UFC 92 drew because of Lesnar. Nothing to do with Couture.

A link to an article talking about Couture making a comeback?? Good lad.

And MMA payout - main source - Wikipedia! Comical.

You do of course realize that UFC PPV's have existed for a long time?

You obviously cant bother to read, it says in that article the estimates to some UFC events Couture headlined.

You have got nothing to prove Randy averages 275,000. Nothing.

No point in wasting my time then.

He did look great against Hardonk, i would say if Crocop fights like he has been doing in his last few fights, Barry would have the beating of him. But Barry really needs to go down the Kimbo route and get himself some crash courses on ground game. American top team would be very benifical for him even for a few months.

Oh im not comparing Barry to Kimbo Ben, so dont worry Wink . I just think if he wants to make it to the top then he needs to work alot on his ground game.

The height was a bit of a problem for him against Hardonk, but he was able to take alot of those leg kicks without causing him too much trouble. Crocop has not been firing head kicks that much in the UFC.

Barry was great in the second round round against Hardonk. I wont tire of watching that.

Would agree there red for any striker to crack the top 10 he needs a groundgame these days. The only fighters who get away with being 1 dimentional are wrestlers... but 1 dimentional fighters are few and far between these days, look at how Tito and Hughes have gone... Kos and Evans evolved and needed to. A Striker needs a plan B. Although a great sprawl could be the answer, Apparently Barry has working hard on his sprawl and with such a low centre of gravity he should be tough to take down.

SO Shane and Red both got Barry to win? I just can see Crocop outstriking him. Will they train togeather? Hoost was in Barrys corner a few times wasnt he? Will Mirko have to find another camp?

UFC want Barry to win this, they are building him up by giving him strikers who cant take advantage of his gaping hole in his ground game.

I dont think they would mind if Crocop won either. Although i get your point about them picking the right type of opponent for him. I guess they were put off by Yvels purple belt and decided to change things up Very Happy
