Andrei Arlovski boxing tomorrow

Arlovski is boxing tomorrow against what there calling a "Top 10 Boxer" Ive never seen him ranked as top 10 but still, Will be good to see AA doing anything!!

I hope this isnt a real friendly sparring session were nobody looses face. Andrei will really need to go out and make a statment... or at least not get KO'd!

Seriously though I hope he looks good, he is missed in the heavyweight devision in MMA.

Is this the charity fight against his training partner? If so then the result doesnt really matter in terms for his MMA career.

As long as we dont wake up in the morning and see a picture of him on his back with his eyes rolled backwards.

I worry about Arvloski's chin but I am also excitided to see him back.

He is called Fres Oquendo. Got beat by....

Toney, Bird, Tua, Holyfield, Ruiz etc.. everyone recognisable on his record beat him! "Top 10" is fairly generous, Boxrec has him as 20th but I find that quite generous too even in todays shite Heavyweight devision.

never seen him before but i wouldnt call him top ten as you mentioned he lost to all top competition but if if you look at his record he lost very close fights to holyfield and toney and there was only one point in it from the john ruiz fight before the ko so he seems to be a decent boxer i think he will be too much for arlovski but is this just a exhibtion match?

I don't know if Arvloksi still wants to compete in boxing, but if so this is a pretty good test for him.

Ive done my research on Fres Oquendo

According to a few websites, he is a pretty decent boxer. Great amatuer career, and won his first 22 fights as a pro. He was beating Tua till he got caught in the 9th round. His losses to Holyfield and Toney were very close, A lot of people thought Oquendo beat Holyfield and Toney was a split desicion where he was detucted a point. His record is 31-5 I think, he could easily be top 20 in a poor HW division.

Arvloski has some of the best boxing in MMA and he is facing solid competition here. Intresting to see what happens, I think Arvloski's chin will always affect him in the future in any sport. Even snooker should he choose to do that.

He is my favourite fighter so its great to see him doing anything constructive, but in reality he is never gonna make a huge impression in boxing. I want to see him get his shit together and get back into mma. He might never be a champ again but he has enough skills to trouble anyone at hw, and enough of a fan base to draw crowds making him appealing to any org. Glad he has gone to Greg Jackson instead of staying with freddie Roach. I like Roach but that experiment didn't really work out in the long run did it

That Vid of him sparring is very impressive, he is very technically sound at Boxing, I can see why Roach placed so much faith in him. To be fair the Hw devision is shit in Boxing he might do allright. Im sure Jackson will sort him out MMA wise. Im looking forward to seeing him back. Could be in April against Bigfoot.

Really glad to hear. A lot of ppl had hiom as number 2 heavy in the world when he fought Fedor. I really think he can be a top 5 guy again. If you have any link to the resul even id love to see it. Really hope we see him vs Bigfoot in SF.
