A very exciting fights between two very different fighters style wise. Sexyama is an excellent judoka and Wandy is...Well Wandy:



Wandy came into the fight at a record low of 190 lbs with Sexyama weighing in at 185.

Im sure this fight will cause some debate among our great men here at the armbar, we have the biggest Wandy fan in town RudeboyBen (who can't be a judge for this fight should we need it ) But Sexyama certainly doesn't have a lack of fans.

sexyama via controversial decision, bit like the Wand/Yoshida fight (first one i think), but obviously going the other way.

Wandi to win by TKO late in the second or early in the third.

Ruled a no contest after the fight turns into the final scene from Borat The Movie when Wandi just can't bring himself to damage his Royal Sexyness!!

We could well see this fight in the summer, im going with Wandi tko rd 2.

Well Every time Wanderlei fights I feel compelled to predict a 1st round KO for him! No exception here! Wandy 1st round KO by attempting to ruin Sexyamas looks... repeated knees to the face!!

As above, facial reconstruction of a most violent nature.

Except spread over 2 rounds.

Some of those are real superfights, Ive always wanted to see Ramapge vs Crocop, Bones vs Shogun would be a great fight to watch... Thiago vs CArwin is the only missmatch I see, But I dont see Carwin as FAvorite to win, If Gonzaga can drop him any of the Lhw strikers would find his chin and put him away..

But he would be too big for the likes of Anderson in an open weight fight. Cain is probably the only one that can stop him, but in talking to a few people here many seem to think Carwin would go through Cain, we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Herb Dean brings them to the centre of the octagon as they stare down. Typical Wandy staredown, while Sexyama simply winks. My heart missed a beat there.

OW fight Wandy vs Sexyama round 1

They come out with no touch and Wandy comes out firing. He circles Sexyama and connects with a right and then a left uppercut. Sexyama is rocked! Nice leg kick by Wandy followed by a right that drops Sexyama! He swarms him. Wandy in the north-south position now. Oooo, big knee by Wandy on Sexyama, that was naughty from Wandy there. Dean intervenes and Sexyama is dazed. Wandy has a point detucted and Sexyama seems ok. They start again, Wandy gets Sexyama in the clinch. Sexyama reveres and WOW:



Excellent judo throw. That was sexy and Sexyama with some GnP from Wandy's gaurd. Nice elbow and Wandy is cut, some big shots to end the round.

Close round, all Wandy at first but after the detucted point Sexyama took over. Serves Wandy right for that knee but I think thats a 9-9 round

Round 2



They come out for round 2, no touch. Wandy with a leg kick. A right followed by a body shot and then a kick to the midsection. BAM, Wandy with a big right hand and Sexyama is down. Follow up shots and Sexyama is done, Dean saves him from more punishment.

Official decision: Wandy by TKO 1:43 of round 2 (punches)

Wandy says he will fight anyone in the next round.

Sexyama says he wants a rematch, tourtument or not.

Thats it for round 1 of the OW tourtement, the draw has been made for the next and it will begin shortly!

Nice write up as ever Chelsea, i like the Wandi throwing illegal strikes from pride thing like he (nearly) did at 110.

I actually think Sexyama will beat him, i changed my mind after watching Wandi at 110.
