Worst fighter ever?

Inspired to make this thread after watching the M1 challenge

who is the worst mma fighter ever?
worst striking?
worst grappling?

I nominate David Keeley of team england for all of the above. Anyone who saw him fight on m1 challenge will agree with me.
he has absolutley zero discernable skills in any aspect of fighting. at all.

he is 6 foot 10, 3-0 in mma.
i am 5 foot 10 with no mma experience and the bare minimum of MA experience but i reckon i could knock him out or submit him at will.

makes you wonder how he won all his fights? by being 6 10 and having decent cardio thats how. He was a professional basketball player so probably thats where he gets his cardio from.
I honestly dont know where they got this guy from.

i was pretty much disgusted.
his striking makes Matt Mitrione look like Morpheus from the matrix.


and his ground skills make Ross Pointon look like a reincarnation of Rolls Gracie.



in reality there is little to no resemblance between those 4 guys in looks or in aesthetics (fighting).


please consider me when thinking of pointless/stupid threadmaker of the year.

having watched, the answer is YES he is worse than Nagy!

Awful in every aspect and has the worst tattoo ever on the lower part of his right leg.

I wonder how bad the other two guys he beat were though!?

His takedown defense and attempt at the rubber guard are two of the funniest things i've ever seen!

1. commentator calling his rubber guard "impressive"

Meathead looks hilarious in that picture and Gracie really does look a bit like Fabregas. Now he needs to work on getting his cardio.

hey Gracie could fight Keeley's opponent in a contest to see who has the worst cardio!

all they have to do is treadmill until one of them collapses.

it could be used as a time filler between fights, it should only take about 10-45 seconds at best.


BTW since you guys are watching it anyway, the LHW fight (bell at 32.00) is one for the highlight reel!

Yeah the "impressive flexibility" part was hilarious! No flexibility AT ALL. He had to pull his foot up just to bring it to his hips! and then he actually managed to lift his leg OVER his opponent who, if he'd been a purple belt or had any wrestling background, would have slid right into side control.

Are the M1 challenge fights always that bad?

Wow! That was vicious!

watch the whole show and you will see some better fights.

its not so bad really, but pretty much all the heavyweights are a farce!

they had one half decent HW Jesse Gibbs and he pretty much walked the whole tourney.

He is Fabregas, I swear!!

Tom its on Bravo all the time. Its M-1 Challenge, the country vs country format... some decent scraps though id consider it one step above semi-pro!! Some pretty low level fighters... Did see some good French ones once though.

I did vaguely see it once before, well just the end of show and was wondering if there are any regular tv schedules. The same with Eurosports randomly scheduled Fight Nights. I managed to see Albert Kraus and Artur Kyushenko on a week or two ago. Both still looked awesome but I think Kraus is slowly being left behind at the highest level of Max K1.
