Strikeforce paydays and salaries for 'Miami' Empty Strikeforce paydays and salaries for 'Miami'

There are some really weird paydays amongst this list.

MMAmania.com has confirmed the fighter payouts for Strikeforce: "Miami" from the Florida State Boxing Commission (FSBC) for the Showtime event held at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida, on Jan. 30.

There was a lot of hubbub surrounding Herschel Walker's mixed martial arts debut, along with his decision to donate his entire fight purse to charity. I'm sure the good folks over at the Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship will thank the former NFL legend for making them $600 richer.

All kidding aside, Walker likely made a boatload of green in an undisclosed pre-fight financial agreement.

As expected, foul-mouthed fightmonger Nick Diaz had the biggest haul of the night, banking a hundred grand for his first round whooping of DREAM import Marius Zaromskis, who collected $30,000 in defeat.

Joining him in the six-figure club was Robbie Lawler, whose "Ruthless" rebuttal to Melvin Manhoef's leg kicks sent the K-1 striker back to Japan with a measly $5,000.

Former WWE star Bobby Lashley dominated Wes Sims in the fight and at the bank. "A Whole Show" made a whole lot compared to the undercard competitors, but only managed to secure half of the $50,000 Strikeforce paid to Lashley.

Anytime Sims feels bad he should just call Marloes Coenen. She was given just $2,000 to risk her neck against the seemingly invincible "Cyborg" Santos.

Here are the complete Strikeforce: "Miami" payouts:

    Nick Diaz $100,000
    Marius Zaromskis $30,000
Diaz defeated Zaromskis via TKO (strikes)

Cris "Cyborg" Santos $35,000 ($15,000 to show, $15,000 to win, $5,000 championship bonus)
    Marloes Coenen $2,000
Santos defeated Coenen via TKO (strikes)

    Herschel Walker $600
    Greg Nagy $5,000
Walker defeated Nagy via TKO (strikes)

    Robbie Lawler $100,000
    Melvin Manhoef $5,000
Lawler defeated Manhoef via KO (punch)

    Bobby Lashley $50,000
    Wes Sims $25,000
Lashley defeated Sims via TKO (strikes)

Jay Hieron $65,000 ($30,000 to show, $35,000 to win)
    Joe Riggs $30,000
Hieron defeated Riggs via unanimous decision

Pablo Alfonso $3,000 ($1,500 to show, $1,500 to win)
    Marcos DaMotta $2,500
Alfonso defeated DaMotta via submission (armbar)

Hadar Hassan $2,000 ($1,000 to show, $1,000 to win)
    Ryan Keenan $2,000
Hassan defeated Keenan via KO (punch)

John Kelly $2,000 ($1,000 to show, $1,000 to win)
    Sabah Homasi $1,000
Kelly defeated Homasi via submission (rear naked choke)

Michael Byrnes $2,000 ($1,000 to show, $1,000 to win)
    David Zitnik $1,500
Byrnes defeated Zitnick via majority decision

David Gomez $2,000 ($1,000 to show, $1,000 to win)
    Craig Oxley $1,500
Gomez defeated Oxley via unanimous decision

Joe Ray $1,500 ($1,000 to show, $500 to win)
    John Clarke $1,000
Ray defeated Clark via TKO (strikes)

Herschal getting $600 affraid whats that all about.

Coenen flys half way across the world for a Title fight and earns just enough to fly back home.

Simms earned more than Herschal,Coenen,Nagy and Melvin combined even though he was a last min replacement.

If Strikeforce think Lawler is worth 100k per fight then I see a slippery slope ahead of them.

This has dodgy buiseness written all over it and these fighters must have had some big back handers to avoid taxes.

At first I thought, well the foreigners like Melvin and Coenen would be down as a low wage for international tax reasons but Zaromskis is down as earning 30K.

Yeah Manhoef got a cash in hand job id say! Laughing I heard hershal walked got a 6 figuer payday before these figures were released... strange. Diaz and Lawler are doing allright, 100grand a fight is big money in MMA. Thats before sponsors and all,

"All kidding aside, Walker likely made a boatload of green" That explains a lot. I hear the story is that Nick Diaz was asked to get Walker literally a boatload of Green for payment, Walker has sights set on beaing a dealer after this!! Laughing

Manhoef got in the region of 50,000 i'm sure. There's always typo's on these when they get released.

Herschal got 600 to cover his flights from Cali to Miami. All the rest was given directly to a charity he choose and is undisclosed.

The two grand Coenan got was probably one of her biggest ever paydays.

It has to be a typo straight from the Florida state atheletic commission then because these figures are direct from them and I'm sure somebody would of corrected that mistake by now.

Every site I've looked at all have it down as 5k for Melvin still.

There was a type on the last lot of figures from a strikeforce card as well. Strikeforce give the figures to the commission so the error is with them.
