    * DISCLAIMER: The above figures do not include deductions for insurance, licenses and taxes. Also, the figures do not include money paid by sponsors, which can be a substantial portion of a fighter's income. They also do not include any other "locker room" or special bonuses the UFC oftentimes pays.

Fight of the Night: Stephan Bonnar vs. Krzysztof Soszynski and Chris Leben vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama

Knockout of the Night: Gerald Harris

Submission of the Night: Brock Lesnar

Fighters were awarded 75 000 for these awards.

First of all, how the fuck did Lytle not win SOTN? Aside from the fact that Lesnar does not need the money and Lytle could probably use it a lot more, Lytle subs was outstanding!

Also im a little suprised Akiyama and Leben were making more money than Carwin win-lose or draw.

Good to see two FOTN awards though, all 4 fighters put on very exciting performances. Two wars.

Hate to see a topic without a reply, especially if I have a question!
It's been said by quite a few on here, myself included, that Lytle's sub was cracking and knocks the shit out of Lesnar's. I wonder if Brock could look at the two and say his is better?
Anyway, do you know who decides KO, Sub, Fight of the Night, etc? Cheers.

Dana decides based on which of the fighters arses he wants to kiss.

Lesnar getting sub of the nigh is a joke.

He gets his ass kicked and takes home 475k. Comical.

I wouldn't disagree about any of that Anfield! But does DW have final say really? I can't believe that.

Yep, it's totally Dana's opinion, so with that said it shouldn't really be a surprise that Brock got awarded SOTN. However i don't see why Dana didn't give Lytle it as well as they usually give out joint awards? Maybe the money Dana was saying he was splashing out to all the fighters after 116 is what that was?

Chris Lyttle has received a bonus for his UFC 116 sub...

Ken Pavia, Lytle’s manager, informed MMAWeekly.com that his fighter did receive a little extra compensation for his UFC 116 performance.

“The bonus of the night was $75,000. It wasn’t near that, but it was still significant. It was more than a mere token, so we‘re very happy about that.” Pavia told MMAWeekly Radio. “They took care of him. They gave him a nice chunk.

“They’ve been good to Chris, and Chris has made a lot of money. I would venture to say one of the top ten in the UFC by virtue of his bonuses,” added Pavia. “He was not unhappy.”
