UFC 108 Weight in

Just watched the weight in for UFC 108..Paul Daley looked bolloxed!!!! Couldnt make weight and is fighting at 172...he looked drained...watch out...

he looked fresh as a daisy compared to his former victim Bang Ludwig who came in in full sweats, and needed help from a trainer getting up the stairs, whilst the other trainer wiped him dry!
but at least he made weight

Daley probably just got sloppy, he has successfully made the cut 20 + times afterall.

just another question..will we be watching the pre;ims tonight? my sky says mma live from 2-3am with a preview show..

Some comical attempts from the UFC to make this card seem strong. Billing Dos Santos against Yvel as a UFC vs Pride type thing with Yvel being described as a "Pride sensation"!!

For those who don't know, Yvel had ten fights in Pride spread over 6 years.

He won two of them.

He won his second Pride fight which was against Gary Goodridge who everyone beats and was on a one win in 4 run. And his second Pride win came SIX years later against Akira Shoji who is 5ft 8 and a MW who could probably make WW!!! That was his last fight in Pride

This is a sensation?? He lost 7 fights, had a no contest and while all this was going on he got himself disqualified in another organization for attacking the ref!

Horrendous stuff really. This guy is in the co-main event?? Think i'll get an early night.

Yvel's record is weird he seems to have a shit record with only 2 wins in 10 fights in pride, but between every loss in pride he has 2 or 3 smaller org wins, so he isnt totally bad!

but to describe him as a "pride sensation" is bullshit, it was a sensational ko though.
