Well worth a read if you have time. Its cool to hear how far back people cross training in Martial Arts goes. Talks about History of people cross training in Martial arts, and Mix fights pitting styles against each other as far back as the end of the 19th centurary! Some crazy Wrestler and weightlifter went on to "challenge to fight Jack Johnson ‘all-in’ and thus prove the supremacy of the white race" UFC 1 rules! Laughing funnies thing ever!

The Gracies bros were born in the early 1900's Id say with Valo Tudo fights starting about not too long after that in Brazil. It would be cool to have a Sort of Hall of Fame for Pioneers of MMA on here. anyone think so?
