It's make or break time for 'Relentless' Paul Taylor this weekend against Gabe Ruediger. It'd be a real shame to see him lose cause the UFC will probably cut him. That would be a massive blow to British MMA. After his win in his UFC debut Taylor was largely hailed as one of the next big things, however he's been on the receving end of a number of questionable decisions since then. Really hope he can pull this one off he's a great fighter to watch and badly needs a win to get his career back on track.

Re: Paul Taylor - Win or bust time
Paul has had as you say a few questionable decisions, not least the Lytle one. he works really hard in the gym and always puts in max effort.
To be honest the cut from welter to lightweight in my opinion has had an effect (I hope he dosent read this :-)) but he is ready and prepared for this one. He always gurantees a good scrap.
it would be a shame to see him cut from the UFC.

Re: Paul Taylor - Win or bust time
For both Taylor and Ruediger it is definately win or bust. I think he'll probably lose this one by sub, in which case he'll definately be cut.
However, if he does win, it's only delaying the inevitable for him i'm afraid, he's a mediocre fighter compared to the rest of an over-packed lightweight division. I'd be very surprised if he is still in the UFC in 2012, irrespective of tomorrowws result.

I think Taylor will stop cake boy as already stated he has had some rough decisions the Stout one was ridiculous sure Stout landed some nice pitter patter punches but Taylor landed the meaningful shots.
