MMA Predictions League - Round 3

Ok, so Round 2 hasn't completely finished yet but it is a busy couple of months coming up in MMA so want to get these out now to give people time to get their picks in.

Last round we had the Kiwi bonus, this round is the Armbar bonus. Fight #6 is Maximo Blanco against a guy who is styled as "Armbar" Kim, having won 8 times by armbar. So, if you pick the forums namesake to win by armbar (must be specific) and he wins by armbar, you will receive 10 bonus points. If you pick him to win by armbar and he wins by some other method of submission, you will still receive the method points but not the bonus.

Is it just me or does that not make sence, If you pick him to win via Armbar and he wins via heel hook.. you get points for picking the sub win anyway.... so whats the disadvantage of picking him to win via armbar?

Well he could win by TKO, and you'd get none.

but i think this is just to add a bit more fun to the mix. There is no advantage of picking 'sub' over armbar as far as i understand....

There should definatly be a round for predicting UFC on versus and UFN 21. Both are great cards. Stacked pretty much from top to bottom.

Yeah sorry about that, I fucked up - the round has now changed considerably so anyone who has entered picks for UFC 111, sorry about that but it has now changed to cover the UFC on Versus event. I followed the order that was shown on the Calendar without checking the dates.

This means a 2 week break between Sengoku and the UFC one but there are not enough well known fighters in the first 2 events to justify having a round to themselves.

Ben you should change that so there isnt any casual fan on 606 who sees your thread and organises his saturday night to watch UFC 111, only to be bitterly disappointed.
