Right, on the 10th Jan back over on 606 a lot of us made predictions for this year..... read them and weep!!
Ronneh - I've got a few, some are just a hunch (like Coleman to beat Shogun). I'm also pretty sure that Lesnar will beat Mir in a rematch.
But, overall - I think BJ is going to outclass GSP in February
Paolo - I'm calling Mir vs Lesnar 2 for Mir again, and I say he ends the year still as champion...
Sunthunder - I think Arlovski will beat Fedor.
I think Anderson loses this year.
Lesnar wins all of his fights this year, ends year as champion.
Georges Luiz Costanza - Machida does not get a Title shot this year.
Liddell or Couture get a title shot this year.
Josh Barnett does not fight Fedor again.
Lesnar will reign supreme
Henderson becomes Middleweight Champion.
Rampage kills Evans by legal murder
Mousasi ends up in the UFC
Anderson Silva gets beat by Leites at UFC 97.
BJ Penn ends the year as the P4P No 1 after smashing through GSP & Alves
Manschesthair_utd- Evans to remain undefeated until december 09 or january 10
Lesnar to be champ at end of year.

Fedor to join the UFC and lose his first fight (could be in 2010)
Rudeboyben - 2009 to be GSP's year, he will beat BJ and Alves in to epic fights...
Matt Hughes to retire and be inducted into the hall of fame
Overeem to join UFC... They need some tallent at heavyweight and couldnt afford him to go to AFFLICTION
Shogun to return to form, expect him to demolish Coleman and then get back into the title picture.
Anfield - Ok, Fedor to sign with the UFC, beat Lesnar with ease(after Lesnar beats Mir), then walk away from the UFC and fight twice a year in Russia for the rest of his career.
Shogun to win a title, possibly the MW title. Having seen him recently i think he can make 185.
Machida to get pushed aside at least once more, prob in favour of Liddell. And then finally get a shot. Win the title and hold it for ever.
GSP to beat Penn and Anderson Silva, but lose to Alves.

Well, my prediction was total shite, and so were at least one or two of almost everyone else's, apart from resident champ Ben
Gotta love the unpredictable nature of the sport.... although maybe if Paynenglory had been around back then he would have called it all just right!
