Looking forward to it Payne. Getting the train to Notts from Long Eaton at 5.20.

It is a really good card and hopefully the Brits will come up trumps.

There are plenty of good match ups on this card, I can't see how this isn't going to be a good one.

    Have a good one mate.

Had a good night last night. Card had everything, knockouts, subs. Mixed evening for the Brits but was impressed with Pickett and Manua. Slightly disappointed with the crowd but it was expensive.

Best part of the evening was meeting MMA legend Jeremy Horn.

How was Horn? He fighting this year or what? Havnt heard about him fighting recently and he is usually so active.

Pickett was the Highpoint of the event for me, I said I think he is more likely than Bisping to bring the UK a Belt and I still believe it. If he can make 125 he can show the Fw'd devision isnt boring and school Mightymouse again.

Struve needs boxing lessons, now he is top 10ish he has got as far as he can on size and sub ability. Sure he has won standing against lesser opponents but that poor boxing wont cut it any higher than he is now. Hunt is the logical choice not having a good grappling game and he is similarly ranked. Werdum would demilish him. I feel Miocic is a bit over rated, I reckon SRD does him in if they fight again.

Robbie Peralta will be a title contender soon.10 fights undefeated, give him Guida for his 145lbs debut next, a big name would help his case. If not Swanson seems a good call to rocket the winner into contention.

The Sass fight was incredible too, I love seeing people trade Subs. the Sass fight was the ultimate example of 2 fighters offensivlet grappling looking for a finish and not pinning their opponent town and ticking him on the face with enough to keep the fight from being stood up. Hope he climbs the ranks when he returns, great guy, great style. Fair play to both guys, thats what fans want to see on the ground, fighters trying to finish.

Makes you sick there is so much dryhumping tolerated in US MMA, when you know grappling can be that exciting.

John Hathaway you are a dull dull man. Itching to see him get KO'd. Or matched up with Fitch to see how boring a fight UFC can make so we can fast forward straight away.

John's actually a really nice kid. He wasn't happy with his performance at the weekend but he's trying to build some momentum and get himself into the top 10 so he's fighting the safest way possible at the minute. I think he needs to get himself across to the states on a permanent basis.

Ben, Horn seemed a nice guy and had time for a chat. Talked about him putting Chuck to sleep back in the day. I'd forgotten all the other legends he'd fought when looking at his record again. He's now running an MMA training centre in Utah. Nice to meet a real old skool MMA fighter - don't think anyone else recognised him.[img][/img]UFC on Fuel - Nottingham Ufc15216

What a Pic mate! And neither of you did the hand up "fighter" pose too Laughing Shocker people wouldnt recogise Gumby!

I love Horn, he is the most down to earth fighter, I read his story a while back about how he got into figting etc.. and he comes off as one of the most likeable guys.

I think he diserves a HOF place when he retires. Some great Career wins, as well as Liddell he beat Sonnen a few times, without checking id bet every one by sub! Laughing

The first fight was stopped on a cut pretty early in the first round. The second was a guillotine in the second round when Sonnen was dominating but made his usual mistake. Third was an armbar in the second round when Sonnen was dominating and made a stupid mistake.
