UFC finally gives England a brilliant main event!

Don't be silly. Stefan Struve VS Stipe Miocic is our main event at UFC in Nottingham. Now I know it is a Fuel card and so we couldn't expect a major headliner, but come on, this is just a piss take. What was wrong with having Bisping face someone like Stann or Belfort, at least that fight has title relevance unlike this. To charge £75 for the cheapest tickets and then give us a main event like this is a joke. It is just simply the UFC exploiting us because they know the die hards will attend the event no matter what. The fact that all the £75 tickets were sold out before a main event was even announced shows this. I wonder how long until we hear Dana White say "how can you call a card or a fight shitty before you even watch it!?!" Yeah tell you what I will charge people £100 to come see a fight between two random kids in the park, it's a great fight so it's worth their money! One event a year and this is what they give us, disgraceful.

This would've made a sold co main event, but no where near quality of main event. Can't say i'm shocked though.

They've done this multiple times before. Announced a event, not put a main event on, put the tickets on sale, let them sell and then given a shit main event. UFC doesn't care about the fans, all they care about is lining their pockets and they know this event will sell out regardless so they figure why bother with a decent main event. Utter BS, I won't be bothering going. That's not even a main card fight on a PPV.

I am not surprised at all lads. It's a decent fight but not a main event in the slightest. They've got to at least put Hardy on the card to make it respectable but I'm not sure that will even happen.

Worst thing is Struve will probably get injured and the main event event will end up being Miocic v Joey Beltran or something.

Not getting excited about the rest of the card but as you lads said Dick White will tell us all not to pre-judge the card etc etc, yeah give us Kalib Stairns Dana!!!!

If that is the best fight on the card, then I doubt I could be arsed to even watch it on TV to be honest.

Why is this main event over Jabouin vs Pickett? Both are as meaningfull fights in the devision? (This maby more so in my eyes) but style wise these guys are likely to put on a fight or the year candidate and Pickett is a brit... real strange to see the Struve fight being made the main event.

Looks like Dan Hardy vs Amir Sodallah has been announced for Nottingham.

Jason Young takes on Robert Peralta too.

Shite main event and all but shaping up to be a great card over all. Hardy vs Amir is going to be fun!
