the demo is out on xbox and ps3 i had a few games of it earlier seems fun but i think the game is made for more brawling fights as you can punch straight through your guard and the slipping and ducking of punchs isnt half as good as the last game i think it would be hard to box your way to a victory in this one probably better to stand and fight anyway has anybody played it yet what? what do use think?

I agree Shane It seems like a step back It seems very similar to rock em sock em robots ATM maybe this is an early build so I hope they improve countering and like FNR4 they have kept the option to adjust speed and the countering window.

Re: Fight Night Champion
I had a quick play of it yesterday but wasn't too impressed by the gameplay. I'd based a lot of my fighting style in Round 4 on weaving and counter punching, however this didn't seem to be as responsive (admittedly I'm a bit out of practice though). After a while I got a bit frustrated and just tried to throw bombs. Don't know if I'll bother buying it when it comes out.

Re: Fight Night Champion
I haven't played it yet but from what i'm heari- er sorry, reading, the gameplay is a massive letdown. That's such a shame considering how good the story mode looks. Is it a case of they've put too much work into the storyline and half-assed the gameplay?

Re: Fight Night Champion
I downloaded it the other day and wasn't too impressed, I even think the striking on EA sports MMA was better. I'll still probably end up buying it though.
