Sounds to me like he's a little pissed off and want's to prove to everyone that nothing has changed and he's still the same fighter he was.
Also, in the Strikeforce conference call for Fedor vs Bigfoot, he mentioned he "wouldn't mind training with someone like Shane Carwin". Would this be for dealing with the strength and size of Overeem and the bigger heavyweights?
